Unfortunately I agree with you. PBD has always come across as a fair and balanced person and I believe as a moderator, he would be just that. But once Ben has made up his mind about something, it's pretty hard to change it. And, as you said, Daily Wire would never promote another company, especially one that's in competition with them. It's going to be another black mark on Ben and DW when they refuse because of the charity offer. If PBD is smart, he'll donate the money regardless.

It seems PBD is trying to offer a gesture of charity that they both would get behind which will motivate them to have discussion. At least PBD is trying to get both sides to talk. Their view points definitely mirror the decisiveness about the Israeli situation.

PBD pledged a massive donation to the family of the young lady who was slain by illegal immigrants and will provide a space that allows both sides to speak freely and in a space that is not hostile to either side. PBD is incredibly good with moderating. There a lot more to it than what your dim view obviously allows either of you to see. So I invite you to not watch it when it happens and stay in the dark.
