The very last Ford Fiesta has just rolled off the Cologne production line today (7 July 2023), bringing an end to 47 years of Fiesta production over seven generations… *R.I.P. Ford Fiesta* _(1976 - 2023)_
Hi. Does your AC make loud kind of grinding noise when turned on or off? It also makes that noise when turning on/off leg vents albeit little quieter. The ac works fine but the sound is annoying.
Hi Henry, did you keep your foot on the clutch when turning the vehicle off? I’ve had my fiesta about 2 weeks but a message has appeared which the dealer is telling me is because I’m not shutting the vehicular off properly
@@HenryBrooke1998 thank you ☺️ I have a message on my screen saying “system off to save battery, please turn ignition off or start the engine” I can’t seem to figure out what the issue is
Yes. It's just informing you that it will save battery power, when the engine isn't running, by switching off power to ancillary equipment. Like the radio etc. It's especially useful if your battery is low on charge.
I've owned it for 9 months, and it hasn't put a foot wrong. It is only the 100 horsepower version, but it's quick enough, and I can get 60 miles to the gallon if I'm careful.
They’re not actually that bad. When you take care of them it is perfectly fine. Car dealers cry about these engines because they cheap out and buy shitty cars which haven’t been taken care of. therefore the engine is fucked
I've had one for about 4 and a half months, lovely car am very pleased with it.

My AC does make an odd sound. It makes a hissing noise, like a tap running.

I only depress the clutch when starting the vehicle. You don't have to depress it to turn it off.

Did the 1.0 ecoboost reliability issues not put you off this car?
Not at all. I've had this car for a year, and it hasn't had a single fault.
Hi
Hello.
Ecobust
I wish they didn’t have those awful unreliable ecoboost engines
I've owned it for 9 months, and it hasn't put a foot wrong. It is only the 100 horsepower version, but it's quick enough, and I can get 60 miles to the gallon if I'm careful.
Just be careful with the wet belt and get it changed early / use the right oil for the servicing
@@nevs1992 I know about the oil. It uses 5W-20, and it was recently serviced.
Turbo later models! 2020 onwards have a timing chain. But stupidly still use the same wet oil belt.
