I saw my first monarch yesterday, early for my area but thank goodness I have plenty of milkweed for them.

Lovely garden! Just wondering, is your geranium maculatum a cultivar? I noticed yours looks a little different from that which I'm familiar, with seemingly darker centers and a brighter more intense pink petal colour as opposed to the native pale pink/purple.

Actually it is Geranium sanguineum, Bloody Cranesbill. When I bought it the tag said Geranium maculatum and I have that stuck in my mind I guess😅 Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I do have the native Wild Geranium.
