My greatest memory will be my son at 5 on this ride. For a good 10 seconds he thought we were flying. His eyes wide as saucers and the magic was alive 🩷 then he looked up and said ‘we’re not flying’ in a ‘im not falling for it’ voice. 😂

Absolutely favorite ride as a kid. First went on it in 1976. It seemed even more epic and magical because back then kids didn't have everything they do now as far as technology etc.

Okay. Here’s where my love of Disney gets weird. I live this attraction and who wouldn’t 🤷‍♂️. I love the sites, sounds and music. There’s one sound that most people miss and this is where I get strange. I ❤ the sound of the motor’s propelling our flying our pirate galleon over Neverland.

Crazy how this ride has stayed practically the same all these years, weird Hook voice and all! I've heard because the ride isn't up to modern building codes, if they wanted to make even slight changes, they'd need to make the ride meet the code which would require completely removing it and starting over. But if that means we'll get to keep one aspect of the Magic Kingdom the same forever, that's fine with me! I love reliving that feeling of the first time I rode it every time I go back.

I cried on that ride back when I was 9 years old because I was scared of the dark but when I was 16 years old I quickly started to get used to it

i remember going on this one in 2018, (i was 7 or 8) the ride broke down and our cart was next to the boat where they were fighting or smthing, the dog barking went on for like 20 minutes until the ride finally was working
