Lord God, one and three, all powerful ruler of the world, receive the hymn of praise that we sing as we keep watch.
The morning star shines clear in the sky and announces the coming day; the darkness of night disappears. Shine on us, light most holy.
Glory be to God the Father, to His only Son together with the Spirit, the Paraclete, now and forever. Amen.
