    What about attempting each shot 10 times to see how difficult it is to get it consistently?

      This would give a much better idea of shot difficulty, and remove the fluke-in-one bias. It would invert the difficulty score to reflect misses - 9/10 difficulty would be a 1-in 10 pot; and anything that you fail to get in 10 attempts would be a 10/10 difficulty. It would be more work/time for you though…

    Mark Allen's cheeky double on the black was a great shot. Shaun Murphy's black was an excellent shot and worthy of top spot. Great recreations and commentary as usual, thanks for posting, take care 👍

      It's the difference of pressure and being against someone capable as well.
      There's countless people who look incredible in a club or practicing who will barely scrape wins, or even never win once, in any chance they get to move up in levels and compete.

    First shot I thought of was Mark Allen's 12th red in the 147.
    To emotionally reset yourself, pot it and play the perfect slow screw positional shot.

    That Ronnie double might just be the cheekiest double I've ever seen.
    Everyone thought the break was over. Nobody even considered it; just audacious, almost dismissive.

    • @antoinecringemann
      @antoinecringemann 4 місяці тому

      Nobody considered it? Speak for yourself. There could always be plants or doubles on from the pack, that is why players double check before playing safe.

  • @aurigo_tech

    Suggestion: perhaps for some of the shots or other situations in matches it would make sense to add another version of it with the thought "how would I have actually played in this situation". For instance for shots where you know with your skill or table it would not make sense to play it like the pros did.

    3:43 Think I said during the match, that's going to be one of the 2 or 3 shots of the tournament.
    Especially given Ronnie had that 4-0 lead and easy pot for 5-0 and the momentum Ding was racing back with, with the 147, if he'd made it 5-4.

    Whats up with your cue at the 4:00? Sounds horrible. Loose tip? or joint?

    • @Breakfromlife
      @Breakfromlife  4 місяці тому

      Not sure what it is but sounds loose every time I play the shot but isn’t the tip, join, ferrule or anything in the lower end of the cue

    • @RetroTekGuyAU
      @RetroTekGuyAU 4 місяці тому +2

      @@Breakfromlife I've experienced that before, depending on the type of cue it could have a weight inside above the butt joint that's come loose. Sometimes manufacturers put lead weights in the handle and after a while the glue loosens. I've also heard that sound when there's a gap under the tip and the sound of the air pocket "cracking"
