RECRUITUS PROFILE Jordan Fletcher, 05/19/2024 Practice. Working on backswing.

Left, single-handed bowler; U18 female and Junior. Over the past couple weeks I have been concentrating on getting my backswing higher. I have been so frustrated and nothing seemed to go right. I am so proud of myself today and I can I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I try to never concentrate on score until the last couple games in practice. I was able to bring home a 200+ game with my new backswing! It’s not perfect but it’s getting there!! On 9/17/2023 I won the U18 girls division during a Junior Gold qualifying tournament to earn my way to Detroit for the 2023-2024 Junior Gold championship!!

You had some NICE pocket hits. Don't get discouraged. Sometimes it's tough to ZERO IN on a lane. That's when you work on those spares.

how do you find tilting to the side on your approach? im gonna try it myself soon

I have a tendency for my body to get in the way of my swing. By tilting a little it gets everything out of the way. Thank you for asking! Let me know what you think when you try it!

You need to wear a wrist device. That will keep the ball cupped . You can’t bowl if you don’t cup the ball a little . The wrist has to be straight the entire time . Ur wrist is open at release .

Thank you for the feedback! I rewatched my video and noticed my hand on top of the ball. I have been concentrating so much on raising my backswing apparently keeping my hand behind the ball fell off. Thank you for pointing it out!!❤

You DON'T have to "figure it ALL out now." Take a deep breath, RELAX and ALWAYS REMEMBER ; Every day IS A GOOD DAY.
Some days are just better than others. 🙂

You are absolutely right! I try to always have positive thoughts on the lanes and reflect after.
