When product costs more to make and ship, you lose money as a business owner, usually need to layoff people or lose the business (but still have to pay taxes). If you chose to pass the increased costs onto the consumer, you usually lose consumers. It’s not a “win” for anyone...it’s a loss for everyone.
I'm not sure. The foreign oil deals are made so they will purchase US treasuries (debt) and defense weapons. This props up the US economy through government spending and allows us to service previous debt. Otherwise, there is massive unemployment and default. Not much can be done really. US spending is far beyond serviceable in the long run; we will never hit the needed GDP numbers.
The man's value has doubled in the past 10 years. Just like every other elite billionaire in the US. Gotta love how its Joe Biden's fault as corporations continue to funnel money to the top until our country is bone dry.

We have more oil than the middle east so there's no excuse to be importing oil & paying these exorbitant prices for oil when we have our own! If we aren't going to voluntarily switch to electric cars, he'll force it by making fuel so darn high, we can't afford it and will have to park our cars! I own a trucking company with bunch of trucks and drivers. A lot of companies that I know are already shutting down because of high price of fuel and maintenance. Diesel is $6.95 in Los Angeles.
With the current market rates we have no choice to shutdown too in a month. Trucks are making 10% of what they used to make

I wish the truck drivers would go on a 3-4 day strike. Don’t move ANYTHING not even food or fuel. Only 3-4 days and I’m telling you they would be begging for the truckers to start driving again.
