I have been waiting for this book! I thought it was coming out weeks ago. I am so glad it is still coming out. Great overview!
Oh this looks awesome, the art looks spectacular, already got my copy of this, so excited to get into it!
Christian Ward is one of my favourite artists, looking forward to that format.
Beautiful Cover.
I don't even think I've ever heard of this book, but it seems interesting.
I love the quality that Dark Horse puts out!
I loved Ward's art in Black Bolt and Wilson's writing in Ms. Marvel so this has been on my radar but I've not got around to reading this one. Is this taller than a Marvel Omnibus?
It's slightly bigger than a Marvel omnibus, I don't know how it compares to the Black Hammer library editions, but it's closer to that. It's the same size as the Remender oversized hardcovers like Seven to Eternity or Deadly Class.
Hey Omar, are you planning to review that expensive new Duck book which just came out? Curious to see it, how it compares to other Fantagraphics books and any extras
When I get it.
karen berger is the editor on this? wow vertigo queen
Hey Omar, any plans to do an overview on Matt Kindt's Super Spy HC? Definitely planning to pick Invisible Kingdom up.
When does it come out?
@@NearMintCondition Today!
Well I need to see if I can get a copy.
I really liked the insanity of wards art on ODY-C that's why i picked this book up but I know nothing about the plot . I had one question do u know why the darkhorse logo is different here & what is that Berger books imprint all about ? Is that like the goon were there creator is trying to start there own brand
I think it’s for the Berger books. Perhaps.
@@NearMintCondition is that G Willow Wilson company
@@ComicSwag no it’s an imprint that’s curated by former vertigo head Karen berger, the seeds by ann noccenti and David Aja was also released under this imprint
@@thetrixter2012 ah ok thanks
As a Library Edition, what are the dimensions? Are we talking hardcover omni size or bigger like a DC Absolute or those Rick Remender hardcover books?
Rick Remender HC Size. Also Black Hammer or Madman HC size for example.
Will you review the upcoming Predator: Original Years omnibus?
Where is the December collected editions show?
Friday.
Hey Omar I dunno if you noticed but your tags for the video seem to be mixed up. Don’t want this to affect the video in the algorithm
Odd but thank you.
How much is it selling for?
Can we get a "we have demons" overview????
I believe that was a few weeks back. With all the trades.
G Willow ? ..... Hard pass for me,but a few others may enjoy this.
Not a fan of Ms. marvel? Damn, I loved that book. My kiddo and I bonded over that first omni.
@@NearMintCondition Not the recent movie,or Willows writing in general, our four daughters have all left the nest, our youngest being 27. I mostly buy material/ reprints from the 40s,to the mid 2000's. I am glad you and yours enjoyed Ms Marvel though.
I’m not looking forward to mine leaving the nest, brother.
This looks nothing like Studio Ghibli. What are you talking about??? 😂😂😂
The storyboard with massive buildings and castles like Laputa or Nausicca. Or the backgrounds in Howl’s Moving Castle or the tranquility to the sea in I can hear the ocean. THAT’s what I’m talking about, Willis!
@@NearMintCondition I feel Ghibli's worlds are so much more vibrant and beautiful and alive. But that is simply my opinion. But I appreciate the name calling.
Name calling? Are you speaking of Willis? Sorry I’m in my 40s that’s what we all said in the 80s when asked what were talking about. Different Strokes was my jam! And I see what you mean, but again that’s just my opinion too. I was just clarifying what it reminded me of their work.
@@NearMintCondition you didn't name call lol
@@NearMintCondition uh oh, as a Near Mint Condition moderator, I'm going to have to insist on no name calling. Omar, cease your 70s sitcom references at once!
A story of a lesbian couple from G Willow? A hard pass. Nice art tho
maybe too how to say this "wokeish" to my taste, but glad for those who like it to get a hardcover version.
