    INGREDIENTS AND NOTES:
    #1 Unfried Dough Sugar Cookies
    200g + 1 tbsp all purpose flour (1 ¾ cup)
    80g powdered sugar (⅔ cup)
    ½ tsp salt
    ⅓ tsp baking powder
150g vegan butter at room temperature, cut into cubes (5.3 oz or 1 ⅓ sticks of vg butter provided 1 stick =113g = 4oz)
a few drops of vanilla aroma or 1 tsp vanilla
if needed 1-2 tbsp of cold water
a bit more flour for the surface
    for the arrows:
either about ⅛ of the cookie dough + blue food coloring, add as much as you want til you’re happy with the color, if needed add more flour to adjust the consistency
    or create some play-doh frosting:
80g vegan butter at room temperature (2.82 oz or ⅔ stick + 1 tsp)
350g powdered sugar (2 ¾ cups or 12.35oz), added to the whipped butter in 3-4 batches
optional: generous pinch of salt, 1 tsp vanilla
if needed to help it come together add 1 tsp water
a few drops of blue food coloring (color and roll out about half for this recipe*)
more powdered sugar if needed to adjust the consistency
*keep the rest sealed in the fridge for up to a couple weeks, use it to decorate all kinds of stuff, shape someone’s initials onto cupcakes for example idk
gingerbread cookie cutters or homemade Aang cutters - if you’re going for the gingerbread cookies maybe try reshaping them a little after you've cut them out in order to make them look less neat haha
or only do avatar head cookies using a glass
create eyes out of poppy seeds, anise or chocolate chips
→ yields ~ 15 avatars, more if you’re only doing the heads (2-3 baking sheets I’d say)
Bake for around 12 min at 180C, the time will depend on how large your cutouts are, you know to take them out when the edges turn a deep golden brown

    #2 Spicy Fire Nation Dumplings
200-250g ground meat substitute (7-8.8oz) - I used 70g soy granules + ½ tsp vegetable broth powder + 180ml hot boiling water = 250g cooked soy granules (or cook it according to the packaging)
1-2 small pak choi, finely minced
    1 inch piece of ginger
    2 cloves garlic
    oil for the pan
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    1 tbsp rice vinegar
chili flakes to taste, I added a heavy pinch but have it as spicy as you want it to be
    salt, pepper to taste
¼ cup water to soften the soy mixture, if needed (60ml)
    ~20 store bought gyoza wrappers
lil bit more oil for the pan
¼ cup water to steam them (60ml)
    for the sauce:
    1 tbsp cornstarch
    1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sriracha, more if desired
    1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp rice or maple syrup
⅓ cup water (80ml), more if needed to adjust the consistency
    → yields about 20 gyoza

    #3 Mango Bowl
    2 mangoes
    2 small red apples
    6 ice cubes
Juice of ½ lime or a whole lime if you wish
    → serves 1

    #4 Cabbage Noodle Soup
    ~ pho inspired ~
    2 spring onions
    2 cloves garlic
1 small piece of ginger, about 1 inch/2,5 cm
    oil for the pan
    2 cinnamon sticks
    3 star anise
½ small white cabbage, cut into strips
½ small - medium savoy cabbage, cut into strips
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    1 tbsp maple syrup
4 cups vegetable broth (1 litre)
salt, pepper and chili flakes to taste
    more water if needed
optionally: adjust broth flavour before serving with more soy sauce, vinegar, syrup
serve with fresh lime juice, green spring onion parts and sesame seeds
    2 servings of rice noodles - about 200g (7oz)
    → serves 2
    #5 Jasmine Jook
¾ cup short cut Jasmine rice (150g)
    1 ½ cups water (375ml)
⅓ tsp salt, more if needed
then another 2 cups water (500ml)
lastly 1 cup of Jasmine tea (250ml) or water or vegetable broth
topping ideas sweet: strawberries, vegan white chocolate, maple syrup, crunchy granola, almonds ...
topping ideas savory: fried tofu, soy sauce, roasted peanuts, spring onion
Jook is also eaten plain as a side dish
    serves 3-4
Since this porridge doesn’t keep for longer than a day here’s the ingredients for a one person jook:
¼ cup short cut rice (55g)
    ½ cup water (125ml)
    a generous pinch of salt
then once it starts bubbling add ⅔ cups more water (180ml) and finally ½ cup green tea, water or non dairy milk even (125ml)
also highly recommend ½ tsp vanilla
2 tsp maple syrup or more for taste
top with berries, almond butter, and something crunchy like granola

In Argentina we have a dessert call arroz con leche which its pretty similar to that rice recipe, also the way you close your dumplings its the way that some people close empanadas in south america. Its so crazy how two different cultures, so far away from each other has so many similarities.

Thought I can share with you my favourite breakfast(although it's usually my dinner)..Strawberry-bounty oats:Half cup of oats cooked in a pan with some plant-milk or water, also add some cinammon, maple syrup(or date syrup)and flaxseeds until it thickens up..serve it with fresh strawberries(or homemade jam),coconut flakes, coconut yoghurt and drizzle some tahini or a nut butter
Also,as a suggestion for this series you could do Phoebe's cookies from ''Friends''(in the series she makes 2 versions of cookies, one when she tells Rachel about Paolo and the second when Monica wanted her recipe)or foods from Disney movies(such as beignets or ratatouile)
