Easy Crackled Fondant Tutorial

Once upon a time, a long long time ago (years) I tried to crack (pun intended) the crackled paint look! I tried white food color over piping gel, confectioners glaze, layering fondant etc etc then one day while experimenting for a TOTALLY different effect, I accidentally discovered this crackled technique! Do you paint before or after torching? Each of your video for the same effect uses a different style? So seems both work? Or you have a better updated technique to use. Thx

serendipity7 nope! Works with dusts, gel colors, edible water colors, I just used airbrush in this video :)

The fire caramelizes the top of the fondant which causes the crack
