Because if this movie I learned to love horses. But I mainly loved Spirit. He's brave, strong, highly determine, a jokester, funny as a colt, and most of all a daredevil.
I swear, this movie and its soundtrack, gave me an insight on what it felt like to be truly 'free' as a kid. Even though I of course could not understand it, I somehow always ‘felt’ it. It actually developed into this thing that always made me want to run out into lush green hills, just taking in the sights whenever I go to the countryside, Under blue skies as a look up into the clouds. And every time, I would always hear one of the soundtracks. Every scenery and tune from this film, had every inch of power to pull at the heart strings, no matter what. Whether you can picture yourselves standing atop a vast grassy hill, from roaming the warm grand canyons, to wading in the gentle and calm summer lakes. Or even under the cool shadow of any tree, with the quiet and soft breeze, gently rustling leaves. Down to feeling every inch of loss, loneliness, and sorrow. Feeling like you’ve fought so hard, yet all for nought. But the moment you feel that tiny spark of willpower, you feel yourself finding hope again. Rising up to triumph and adrenaline. And the moment when you realized, that you pulled through against all odds. Is when victory and celebration chimes through. This movie had feeling and passion unlike any other children's movie to me. And no matter how many times i come back to watch it, i would never get bored. That was how good this movie is.
"I will miss you my friend" *"I had been waiting so long to run free. But that goodbye was harder than I ever imagined. I will never forget that boy..and how we won back our freedom together."*
Spirit and How To Train Your Dragon have the most touching/emotional music to me. I miss that magic in movies. DreamWorks is still incredible but I gotta say those two are true gems in the collection 💎 8:07 will never not make me wanna cry
I was obsessed with this movie as a child. Now, as a 22-year-old digital nomad who moves constantly, the songs "I Will Always Return" and "This Is Where I Belong" mean so much more to me. Washington State and my family there will always have my heart and my roots.
in 25years and I still watch this movie that makes every time cry like a baby, a movie that describes very well what is like to be free, to be urself happy and in ur own controll ❤❤❤❤ word can't describe enough my love for this masterpiece
man, same. i don't even have to know the song that plays because i know this movie so well, i could recite the script and music in my head. i just KNOW what you're referring to T^T
Same here, they done him really bad in that stupid show series they made him look more like a pony than a kiger mustang horse, which what he truly even really was not some pony with a white blaze or socks on his legs and a short head and ears and back and body. The Spirit that we both know is the one from this movie, not the cheap knock-off version of him. So.. yeah, you're not alone on that heart weeping thing mine did too when I first saw what they did to him.
I watched this when I was 7. And I cried. Because there was a way the whole movie and soundtrack managed to take me through Spirit's brokenness and triumph. I melted when he did and grew wings when he did. It was such a beautiful unforgettable experience. One of the best movies ever made. Thanks for the beautiful soundtrack it's one of the best out there
"I had been waiting so long to run free, but that goodbye was harder than I ever imagined. I'll never forget that boy, and how we won back our freedom together"
Since I first saw this movie as a toddler (like 14 Years ago)... is it my favourite movie ever. I mean not a single film gives me these "now you are home" vibes as this one. I just love it until the day I die.
I am 29 going on 30 and this remains one of my favourite movies ever. So beautiful and it evokes deep feelings in my soul that words fail to describe. ❤ And the whole soundtrack feels like freedom.
Holy cow. This was (and still is) hands down my favorite movie as in I could watch it a thousand times and not get tired of it. I’m glad there are people who haven’t forgotten it, because I never knew I needed this compilation until today ❤️
It's a summer night and it just rained. The air smells like dirt and trees and I'm sitting outside with a cigarette and a cup of warm chicken broth looking up at the stars. Listening to 4:17 is unreal💚✨️
It kills me inside how people have forgotten the sheer power of traditional animation. So much more effort is put into it, and thus so much more beauty is achieved.
I love this movie so much and I'm so glad others share my love as well. And just listening to the music without any of the voices just gives me chills from the emotions that I know are behind it ☺😭
First time I see this movie in 2005 , from that moment he stuck in my head for years. I love Spirit ,Stallion of The Cimarron so muchhhhhhhhhh 😭💖🐎 Big hug from Romania 🇷🇴
i really love this movie especially since its was my moms favorite, one of the only ones i got to see with her, I don't really knew her personally as she passed away when i was 3 , but every time i see this movie i cant stop crying, it makes me feel that shes still here
I think that the song " You can't take me " describes the kind of mentality I had during my school years. I'm an autistic person and schools didn't treat me right, I had to fight to be heard and get my needs met.
It’s actually insane how emotional this movie/soundtrack makes me. It’s been my favorite ever since I was a child and the way it still hits so deep is just.... I don’t even know how to explain it. True artists on this soundtrack. And thank you to the beautiful individual who made this 😭😭
I saw this movie the first time a long time ago... In a age i should not remember it. But my mind always remembered it. I saw this DVD and this picture and something inside me and my head began to paint memories. I am not a huge horse lover but this in hat down the BEST movie and soundtrack ever made.
That scene totally went over my head as a young child. I just thought it was cool how they made the horses from the snow. When I got older, that scene and song hit me so hard. Ah, the innocence of childhood!
I just wanted to say, all of you are amazing people who come back to the classics (other than Disney). May Spirit live on forever with us, and to the next generations. I longed to become Spirit when I was younger, I mean, who wouldn't? All of these songs: instant nostolgia. Beautiful movie, beautiful music. Rock on, legends!!!!! 👊
Everyone has a favorite movie....but am obsessed with my childhood movie yet the most beautiful thing I've ever watch ad still having goosebumps watching it ! Thank you ❤
I remember buying the soundtrack 'cause it was Bryan Adams on the cover. It was around the same time Spider-Man was around if my mermory serves. I heard that cd for YEARS!. An underrated soundtrack imo.
4:15 Thank you so much! I have been trying to find this simplistic, beautiful rendition of the "Homeland" theme. I don't believe it was released in the original soundtrack.
This film installs a deep longing for me to just run free in the wild plains of the west. It’s this unbridled need to escape into nature and lose the shackles of society. I can’t explain it, but it’s there, a deep heartbeat inside, and I’ve never not had it. It’s unbearable because I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to just do it.
This is a more energetic mix than usual. This score by Zimmer is amazing and I couldn't left out these tracks! Enjoy! You can download the full mix with the link in the description. Want to support this channel and access extra content: buymeacoffee.com/theambientscore
@The Ambient Score Hey I have been trying to find the full original score to the movie. Online the albums only include 15 songs, but they don't include most of the instrumental scene ones. This channel has a total of 25 tracks, but I have no idea where to get it. My only guess is long ago they had a complete album. Just sucks it isn't still available. Here is the playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLHJe1MilVxXFBCNqOM5G7KAaFiWJAOgfJ.html
Sometimes, the music will just pop into my head, and it all starts again! This movie introduced me to Hans Zimmer and Bryan Adams, started my love for music, and that's not even talking about the movie! Masterpiece 👌 Bear with me, I'm just about to build a fort and watch this all over again! 😂
This movie had such an impact on me as a child that after fast-forwarding 16 years since I first saw it, I ended up rescuing a feral mare😂 (She ended up being a PHENOMENAL horse) Lots of work and patience, but worth it!
I'm so happy when people actually remember this masterpiece of a movie
Because if this movie I learned to love horses.
