- I can't say that I've been dreaming of visiting Antarctica for my ENTIRE life, just since I was old enough to start forming thoughts and desires. So...basically forever. This November I got to make that dream a reality, aboard the M/V Sea Spirit with Poseidon Expeditions. To say it was the trip of a lifetime would be a wild understatement - so much so that I'm going to split this expedition into two separate videos. Great video. I went a year ago tomorrow. We had similar restrictions in place too. No crouching etc. I spent ages picking out sand out of some Velcro. The boat I was on, it was its first time landing on South Georgia island which meant we had inspectors on board. They literally checked inside back packs, Velcro, boots etc.
I had such high expectations for this trip. I had been delayed twice due to COVID restrictions. I totally agree though that it still massively exceeded expectations.

Amazing!!! So jealous. As a Mariner and someone who is constantly on the water (240-270 days per year avg. in Alaska), you'll get your " Sea Legs" soon. Just need to keep taking trips like this one!

Thank you so much. I agree that they should be more frequent, that's the eventual goal! Right now life is full of other projects, but my 2024 goal is to make these much more frequent!
