Kumrat valley
After solo survival camping at miranjani, i gathered courage and went for further challenge. Winter snow camping, but with a partner this time.
Spending night in camp with -4,-5 'C was a new, bit harsh and scary experience as it was just two of us. But even more difficult task was convincing someone for such an adventure where we would spend two nights in our own camps (pitched inside empty cabin), collecting wood, starting fire and cooking meals, and that too just two of us, possibly all alone, in entire valley.
Muheb was crazy enough 😋, to accompany me on this trip. And what we would experience next was a lifetime adventure. We didn't witness other worldly winter wonderland beauty, but that serenity and warmth that cold kumrat, torquoise Panjkora and snow ridden deodar trees had to offer, feeling of having all that to ourselves only was indeed OTHERWORLDLY ♥️♥️
( I've tried and hope that viewers get the same experience through the film of this trip )
We were lucky enough to setup fire on first day and breakfast of second day. But second night woods wouldn't fire coz of being wet or too cold. Spent almost an hour in struggle, failed and had to eat cold almost frozen meal.
Had to do wuzu with cold river water due to shortage of fire.
But it was all worth it for someone looking for wilderness and peace.

Very interesting video and post production. On a cold day,there is nothing refreshing and uplifting as hot food. If possible take some soup stock (you get like Maggie chicken stock,etc) and prepare a good bowl of soup.Best mutton bone leg soup.Nothing like sipping and enjoying with the serene views.

Yar hum 2 e they. Han few locals were living there for taking care of their hotels and stuff.
Not proper training, but we're experienced enough by our own adventures.

Lhr-Deer via public transport cost 1300 rs one side
Deer-Thall local 300 per head
Then on feet in snow. In summers you can hire jeep or a bike if single.
Our camping and hiking gears was mix of cheap and branded stuff though.
Camp china made 4500
Basic winter Sleeping bag start from 5000 and upward
Backpack around 4000
Shoes around 2-3 k if bought from landa (flee market), 10k+ if opt for new ones
Food was all frozen home made

Mid/Late November se regular snowfall start hojati ha in Kumrat
Is it possible at bikes in janaury or february?
Yes easily. You can reach kumrat on almost any bike. There is snow, but locals also use the same way to rasta bana hota ha. At least abshar point tk to chaly jao ge on bikes
