Karakoram Highway is Brutal - I Travelled on Pakistan famous KKH from Hunza to Astore, Minimarg
Claimed by some as World's 8 wonder, Karakoram Highway or the KKH in Pakistan is truly a wonder. Not only it takes your breath away by the landscape, massiveness of it, and how gigantic everything on this road is from Nanga parbat view point, Rakaposhi view point, indus river, junction of World's 3 highest mountain ranges; it leaves mark on your mind. And the rough, harsh and brutal weather conditions surely leave mark on you body.
We traveled from Hopar valley in Hunza to Astore in July this year.

In this part, i covered our Day 2's journey from Burawai to Chillas zero pint via Jalkhad, Besal, Gittidas and Babusar Top. in July 2024, me and my friend went on a bike tour from Lahore to Hunza via Naran, Babusar and Gilgit. I had a Honda 150 and friend was on Yamaha 125. None of the bike felt underpower during this stretch of journey, despite additional 25KG luggage on each one of them. This was my first ever bike tour to north. And every second, penny was worth it. We reached our destination in two days. This is...

Tips for binding luggage on bike 1- do not use rope for tiding luggage 2- Use " Bunji cords - rabbar ke rassi " use multiple cords ( you use i think 1 only, 3- if you have to tie more than one bag than use cord & tie separately on top of each other with bike. 4- or in case of more than one bag, bike tyre ke purani tube, 1-1/2 inch round cut kr ln, phr more than one bage ko uss mn lapate kr " One pc ( 1-nag)" bna ln, and bunji cord sy biek rear pay tie kr ln.
jazakAllah khayr for observing my settings and details reply. will be helpful. (y)

I think rush lake's water isnt crystal clear but nevertheless i enjoyed the view. Brings back old memories from 2019😢. I wish I could go there again some day.
Back in 2019 when I did this trek. Glacier was in good condition not like this. Maybe due to global warming its like this now.
Very much possible. Even guide told me that glacier used to be much higher years ago. Now it has receded.
@@IndusJam there is another route which goes from hisper village but its tougher
Oh man, not sure about the trek to lake, but i peaked over hisper side on way to rush pari summit, and it was scary. hisper wali side is so steep and rugged. It gives you goosebumps
Brother unfortunately, you missed the real deal at the Rush Pari Peak. The Majestic view of Hisper La and the Mighty K2. Subhan Allah. I had a feeling from your first episode that the weather was very clear for your first two days and it would most likely change to snowy and cloudy when you reach the Lake and Rush Peak Summit and you might miss the view from the top and that's exactly what happened. Nevertheless, you had a great adventure. Jazak Allah Khair.
😢. The missed opportunity didn't feel so bad at that point. Infact we were so occupied with the summit thought, or summit fever that we didn't consider views point. But it started feeling bad when we met a german who summited a day after us and was able to witness a clear sky and behold all the majesty. And since then, onwards, ab ye gham brhta e jarha 😂😂
@@IndusJam hahaha koi ni you can do it again In Sha Allah. Seems like you didn't have the idea of views from the top so you could've stayed there for a while hoping that the weather would clear. In my opinion, on treks like this at least 1 extra day should be included in the plan just in case the weather gets bad and you couldn't enjoy the place to the fullest.
Yes, 100% true. I was aware of views while planning the trip. But the experience was so overwhelming that i totally forgot about views. And on spot on adding marginal. Couldn't agree more
I want to invite you n group for a کھانا at my place, how can I contact you?
Oh mashaAllah, thanks for your love n support ❤️
