How I have missed you Rob! I have been pretty ill the last two years so I have a lot of catching up to do!!! Piece and blessings, Vicki Robles❤❤❤
Great camera work.
Great instruction Rob.
Thanks, I appreciate the compliments
Great block and so versatile. Appreciate the math update, but will probably always need help with that part!!😂
Absolutely! you can always watch this again.
This is the perfect size for what I have been wanting. Thanks so much. Your explanation of it all is just what I need as well.
Good Morning from Newberg, Oregon
Outstanding and best tutorial for the sawtooth!
This is so timely!!! I was just trying to do the math yesterday!!!
Did my math help? It always seems so much more clear in my head than when I watch the finished video, haha
You saved the day for me. I needed this exact size star for a quilt I am making. Thank you, Rob!!
wow. you made it soooo easy. Thank you
Glad it helped!
Great video, you teach well.
Great tutorial 🙏 and thank you for the handout. Really useful 🧵🪡
Thanks, Rob. This was a good explanation!
Thanks Rob
My pleasure, but thank Aunt Sherry, it was her idea, haha
Loved this!! Yes easy block, but now I know about the math :). How about an Ohio Star?
Great info!
Glad it was helpful!
thanks for the math lesson
Thank you for the math.
You bet!
Just curious, why do you not use the binding tool as on older video? I’m wondering if ultimately you find the method here is more accurate? I love your videos and still learning. Thanks!
Yes, what I am teaching here utilizes the Binding tool math, without having to use the tool. Many find the tool easier still. Both methods yield the same awesome results.
Howdy Rob! How about a lemoyne star block!
You Bet, I am on it.
Do u have the free print out of the measurements of the one you had done? The larger one?
You could do 4-at-a-time flyiing geese. Faster, easier and no waste.
Yes, but to a non quilter, my fear is the the sewing does not make sense until you have made several in this method. I will be teaching that method again soon. Thanks for the suggestion
Thank you so much and can you help with a flying geese pattern
Yes I can, the first part of this block is a flying geese, so do you want more help with just the math, or different techniques?
Lamoine star, I don't understand the cutting or construction of the block and how would you split it? Thank you
On the list, thank you for the request
I know it's not a basic block.. but if you could do a tutorial on the 54/40 or Fight block that would be nice. Maybe you could find out how it got it's name.
I have added it to my list, I need to learn this one myself. Thanks for the suggestion
