Batatinha Produções that’s the point. You’re not _supposed_ to know a damn thing about the Diavolo, outside of there’s some weird split personality thing with him and Doppio, and he’s got a Stand that fucks with time.
So here’s something you should probably know: That small second face that King Crimson has, is called “Epitaph”, and it’s what allows the boss and Doppio to see 10 seconds into the future. It is theorized that Epitaph is actually Doppio’s stand. Because without the Boss manipulating him, Doppio is usually a very gentle, kind person, who looks forward to the future, which is perfectly reflected in Epitaph, a non-violent stand that allows you to see the future. However, the boss is a violent, sociopath, who views the past as something to be erased and destroyed. So his stand is King Crimson. However, due to the nature of them both, technically, being the same person, both personalities are able to use one another’s stands. However, in most cases of multiple personality disorder, the “original” personality is completely unaware of their condition, while all of the split personalities are fully aware of the original. It is theorized that Doppio is the original personality, and at some point, he suffered some horrific trauma that created the boss, and from that point onward, the boss would control their body for most of their life, which is why he is a lot more physically older than Doppio. And because Doppio doesn’t know about any of this, this allows the boss to pretend like Doppio’s stand doesn’t actually belong to him, and that he’s doing Doppio a favor by allowing him to “borrow” it. It all just goes to show how sick and twisted the boss truly is.
Sant1Pol1 You say that like we have another stand user with a split personality who has one of their personalities die, to compare all of this to. Besides, Doppio has to have a stand. Otherwise how would he be able to see other stands? And the boss is able to share his stand with Doppio, and the boss is a greedy prick, so it only makes sense that the boss would steal Doppio’s stand, and pretend like it’s his.
@@Laxhoop I don't think Diavolo could just steal Doppio's stand if that is the case. Just like how Diavolo "lends" Doppio King Crimson it would make sense that they can only either be lent between the two or it has something to do with sharing the same body so they can each use each others stands but Doppio is unaware of it.
@@hereyougo3075 I mean, there's the Crack Theory that Diavolo IS King Crimson, that's why he couldn't fully lend Doppio it, cause it makes otherwise no sense why he couldn't fully lend him KC and yet Doppio was able to notice Narancia's stand before. There are also so many shots of Diavolo talking through King Crimson, or the shot when Doppio used the Ice Cream as a phone and King Crimson was half of Doppio's face as Diavolo was talking with him.

So two things: 1) Abbachio was the one that chose the 4th strawberry shortcake in the beginning. 2) In the final scene Giorno turns Abbachio's grave into his favorite flowers. His favorite flowers are shown in the character panel in the manga.
i was shocked when i saw Abbacchio dying and i couldn't believe it ... the part of him and his partner broke my heart ... Rest in peace Leone Abbacchio .. this tears are for you
I remember reading the manga back in the day and Abbachio's death not affecting me as much, but when watching it adapted in the anime it actually hit me more than any previous death in the series. Btw during that dream sequence the other cop says that he's doing what he's doing because he's in it not simply to get results, but to show his resolve and perservere in it even if things don't go his way. Looking only after results makes a person look for shortcuts and get less motivated in things they do, ultimately forgetting why they were doing this in the first place. It's the ideology that pushes Bucciaratti and his gang forward and stands in direct opposition to the boss' own ideology of "only the results matter", which is reflected in his Stand (King Crimson literally creates shortcuts to the results by erasing time).
I like to think that Abbacchio was holding onto that shard in his last moments because he knew Giorno could put it back where it came from. In his last moments, Abbacchio accepted Giorno.
This is honestly my favorite story arc in part 5 it deepens the intrigue around the boss stages a brutal fight between two antagonists and finishes off with the first real death in the part.
There’s a statement where araki said if dio wasn’t strong willed the stand would’ve taken over being more powerful, I think that’s what happened to doppio. Instead of him wielding the stand, the stand wields him which is why king crimson is usually talking, not the user.
Sylberin yeah I have a theory about that myself. I honestly think he was born with king crimson already and the arrow the first time just evolved his stand, which is why king crimson is so powerful and has 2 abilities already and he can’t be affected by the arrow (spoilers)in the end and also has an E in development potential when his stats are first shown.
Thematically, Abbacchios after Life scene with his partner is THE single most important scene in part 5, maybe even in JoJo as a whole. The duality created between The main villian with King Crimson and Abbacchios partner has such a strong message and might be my favourite duality in JoJo only rivaled by a certin duality in part 6 stone ocean.
Out of all the deaths in JoJo’s (anime that is) this one was handled the best! Narancia’s performance was breathtaking and the scene with the cop had me in tears
Doppio and Diavolo (Boss) are two separate souls living in one body, when one takes over, their physical appearance and mental status changes, Doppio is the main host, while Boss is an additional, secondary, soul
Okay so basically, Doppio and the Boss are 2 souls/personalities in one body. We don't know why or how, it just is like that. There are theories like the Boss possessing him since birth since The Boss' name, Diavolo, means devil. And the woman in the flashback said that she wasn't big earlier. The baby also already had Doppio's eye color, and then suddenly switched to red, hinting at someone else being already with him.
The name Diavolo is a spoiler that hasn't been revealed yet, luckily i'm pretty sure shes already seen the reveal but you still need to be more careful with that stuff.

Man, JoJo has been one of the only anime to make me care and cry about a death in the show. Truly heart wrenching especially seeing narancia cry out like that
So, this fight actually shows us something very important: The Boss has a fundamental misunderstanding of fate. Epitaph only shows an idea of what could happen. In those predictions of the future, it *was* guaranteed that a foot would go flying, but through sheer willpower, Doppio was able to steer fate in a direction that benefitted him, and make it so the foot that went flying wasn’t his. The Boss believes that fate is set in stone, that his permanent and eternal victory is assured, and that any pitfalls he might encounter can simply be erased with King Crimson. He thinks he can get what he wants with no effort.

A little scientific fact about Metallika's stand power: even though there is iron in our bodies, its way too small of an amount to make anything bigger than a single nail.
I'll mention this now even though you don't get to see to much of him in these episodes, but man did the animators have fun with King Crimson. You can even see it when Epitaph (the little face) comes out. It's probably because it's one of the most expresive stands with it's constant angry face, and also one of the only stands you see "talking" (it's supposed to be the user talking through it though)

If you know about part 3 it would make sense obviously, but to anyone watching blind it would just be another little graphic in the intro c: I Think it would be fun to see you watch all the intros again now with context xD
I seriously don't get how so many people get confused with Doppio, the Boss says that he's going there himself and the future teller says he has two personalities, he dosen't even make it a metaphor like: "two souls, one body" no he says strainght: "You have 2 personalities" why do people get confused?
I’m not crying, no no you are. I really appreciate Abbachio character, his hole story is a tragedy even his death but at list it wasn’t in vain. Ottimo lavoro Abbachio !
Abbacchio was the one who hurt me the most and Narancia too. What I find it interesting this episode at 18:04 "A", I looked it up and found that Avengers: Endgame and Jojo golden wind episode 28 released exact on April 26, 2019. April 26, 2019 = Abbacchio April 26, 2019 = Iron Man The two deaths occurred on the same day could be a coincidence and parallel.
Hi queen just let me explain. baby doppios eye color was changing because he had the multiple personality disorder. Its a disorder that causes you to have more than one identity or more Doppio’s second identity was diavolo so basically doppio’s side was still onto protecting his mom before the village was burnt
Abbacchio took the *fourth* slice of cake, and after Giorno, Bruno, and Trish, was the *fourth* one on the boat. I read Part 5's manga, so I knew it was coming, but when this episode first aired, it absolutely broke me. I thought I was ready. I wasn't ready. I wasn't ready *at all*
It's still theorized to this day which one of them is the original personality, Doppio or the Boss. Doesn't help that their backstory is as vague and enigmatic as the Boss himself. Also, a very sweet touch that the anime added after Abbacchio's death is that Giorno turned his body into a bed of, according to staff, yellow sultans, which represent his strong will.
Bruno's team really lucked out on Risotto checking out early, Metallica could've absolutely floored the entire team (with Narancia being an exception).
Okay listen, I could probably see someone get f-ing decapated and not bat an eye, but I always cry when I watch this episode, especially when Narancia freaks out
Funny thing is, Araki originally wrote Fugo to be a traitor and he was supposed to be killed by the group but due to personal issues he had at the times Araki decided to not go through with and actually just have Fugo depart from the group
04:39, yeah that is QUITE a steep price for a ride. According to last exchange rate of what Italian Lire had in 2001, that would be 453 dollars and 73 cents.
Going back to this duwang of an episode, i truly want a no homo explanation of the absence of golden wind in Netflix. Like this part had the whole community divided into liking it and/or hating it for uff lots of reasons. Still you can't deny how well Araki managed the twist personality into explaining how nobody ever knew about the boss until now
Giorno gave him Dandelions, like how his name is Abbachio Leone. Also, it's funny how his last gift to the squad could only realistically be figured out by Giorno.
Doppio is cute. I don't care how he's releated to anything else, but Doppio alone is precious. Abbacchio's death hit me pretty hard. It came out of nowhere, kind of how it hit Narancia. This is why he was always with someone at all times. Moody Blues isn't really geared for combat, but rather investigation. And the one time they leave him alone for a few minutes? Yeah. I cried, I know my friend cried too. Didn't really give you much warning. I wasn't even that attached to him (aside from liking his design because... purple)
I like how Abbacchio left a clue that only Giorno could figure out. That shows how Abbacchio finally accepted Giorno as a friend.
Also in the manga you could see through the hole in his torso

It's hard to get me to cry. But when Narancia fell to the ground and started sobbing, I turned into a living fountain for a couple seconds
I seriously don't get how so many people get confused with Doppio, the Boss says that he's going there himself and the future teller says he has two personalities, he dosen't even make it a metaphor like: "two souls, one body" no he says strainght: "You have 2 personalities" why do people get confused?
Remember guys he died first because he chose 1 cake slice out of 4
I’m not crying, no no you are.
April 26, 2019 = Abbacchio
April 26, 2019 = Iron Man
The two deaths occurred on the same day could be a coincidence and parallel.
Fun fact:
The frog Doppio ate was a direct descendant of the frog Zeppeli punched in part 1
I love that giorno just surrounds his body in flowers to help him pass, it gets me so emotional 😭
Hi queen just let me explain.
baby doppios eye color was changing because he had the multiple personality disorder.
Its a disorder that causes you to have more than one identity or more
Doppio’s second identity was diavolo so basically doppio’s side was still onto protecting his mom before the village was burnt
I wasn't ready *at all*
Somehow your reaction made it hit harder than it already did.
Turururururu ruru rururu♪
Turururururu ruru rururu ru♪
11:40 Don't we all just want to see a Hitman Team spinoff ❤️
It's still theorized to this day which one of them is the original personality, Doppio or the Boss. Doesn't help that their backstory is as vague and enigmatic as the Boss himself.
Also, a very sweet touch that the anime added after Abbacchio's death is that Giorno turned his body into a bed of, according to staff, yellow sultans, which represent his strong will.
Slow and steady wins the race 🐢
This episode gave me some moody blues...
Imma have to get the tissues ready.
i got doppio as my ring tone lol
The part 6 anime (if they make one) is going to be made in heaven
Bruno's team really lucked out on Risotto checking out early, Metallica could've absolutely floored the entire team (with Narancia being an exception).
Okay listen, I could probably see someone get f-ing decapated and not bat an eye, but I always cry when I watch this episode, especially when Narancia freaks out
Funny thing is, Araki originally wrote Fugo to be a traitor and he was supposed to be killed by the group but due to personal issues he had at the times Araki decided to not go through with and actually just have Fugo depart from the group
I can't believe Doppio didn't use banana to call his boss
If you're curious as to why the stand names are different in the subs, its because of copyright issues
Abbachio died first because he ate the 4th slice of cake
Doppio in Italian means double, hence his double personality.
16:06 my reaction when someone makes an Abbachio death meme for the 10000th time
it's alright....we all cried
04:39, yeah that is QUITE a steep price for a ride. According to last exchange rate of what Italian Lire had in 2001, that would be 453 dollars and 73 cents.
I recommend Code Geass for the next series to watch
Going back to this duwang of an episode, i truly want a no homo explanation of the absence of golden wind in Netflix. Like this part had the whole community divided into liking it and/or hating it for uff lots of reasons.
Still you can't deny how well Araki managed the twist personality into explaining how nobody ever knew about the boss until now
Queen are you ready ♿️♿️♿️♿️♿️♿️♿️♿️ let’s get readyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
*When you realize the bad guys, were actually the good guys.*
RIP Abbacchio ???-2018 Died as a proud member and as a police officer, rest in peace.
Always watch the opening
Well ... I cry too ... I already have seen this but I cry again with you ...
Giorno gave him Dandelions, like how his name is Abbachio Leone. Also, it's funny how his last gift to the squad could only realistically be figured out by Giorno.
Abacchio took the first piece of cake out of the 4 in the very beginning of golden wind... Mista said it, something will happen....
I wasn't even that attached to him (aside from liking his design because... purple)
If Giorno healed him, and Abbacchio took the bus, pretty sure he came back to alive, just like how josuke did to okuyasu
Rip Risotto too, rip the Hitman team :(
