Aw, thanks so much! I'm such a huge fan of LotR, and I think Howard Shore perfectly captured the musical world Tolkien would have imagined. Was so stoked when I saw the brief for this tavern, and that I would get to pay a little homage to Shore while trying to make it something my own. So glad you enjoy it!
Did you take any inspiration from Michael Shore's score of LOTR, or did you purposely try to do your own thing here? (P.S. It's outrageous that Twisted Taverns has done so well but most of your music/videos have been seemingly overlooked. Well, *I'm* certainly enjoying them now!)
I wish more people were listening here as well! The album is doing pretty well on Spotify though 🤷🏼♂️ All good though...those who are finding and listening to it seem to be enjoying, and that's all that really matters to me. And Shore's LOTR score was the main influence for this track, specifically "Concerning Hobbits". Looking back, I probably could have kept the track from getting so "epic" at the end...but I couldn't help myself! 😂
This is one of the greatest tavern soundtracks ever and it perfectly completes the atmosphere of The Dancing Horse! Thank you :)
