A few of them might could play Qb , Allen iverson , Bron , KD and I think Westbrook were nice at football , as for KD I might be thinking about that Lebron vs KD football game
I played both basketball and football growing up. Played WR as a younger kid, but as i grew, i turned into a TE/OLT. I also played DE and LB for my HS team. I played frshman, JV, and varsity basketball as a Center im 6'6. The conditioning is way harder in basketball, and the skills are way harder in basketball. Most of the footballers could play PE basketball and a lot tried out for the basketball team. Only myself and another kid played both sports. He was a RB/Fb and it helped him bc he was about 6'1. OLineman/dlineman almost no chance unless it's prison ball. Qbs have a chance if they can run and some cbs and safteys can but are honestly to small. It's way easier to transition to football vs basketball because you have too many skills to learn on top of being athletic. Footballers love to hate on NBA players because they make pennies compared to them. It's 50+ mfs on a football team, not including scout teams. You mean no nba player can replace # 45-50+😂 please. There's only 12 spots on an nba team and #12 giving every nfl player the business. Now, if you loosen the rules and allow hand checking and 80s style closelines and brawls, then they have an argument. Most NFL players dont have the coordination to run and dribble without losing the ball. Let alone shoot, run through a screen, or multiple chasing a shooter without fouling constantly. As shaq would say, bbq chicken on the court every time one checks in. Man at 19, I was dogging AZ cardinals players who would come to LA Fitness to hoop. All they had was pushing. This argument is based on just pure physicals…. But when it comes to Football it’s much more of a mental game than Basketball! 11 players have to know the play called, their assignment based on the play, and where to line up before anything physical even starts. Not to mention adjustments based just off alignment pre snap. It’s much more than running tackling and catching lol. Especially in today’s NBA where they don’t even run too many sets. Matter of fact, plays literally get drawn up mid game lol.
Basketball players don't want a 240 to 330 pound man or both slamming into their ribs, back, gut, or legs. This is a ridiculous thought. The musculature has to be fixed, then they'll need time to develop spacial awareness, then they still have to be willing to take those hits every Sunday for 4 quarters. They'll never hoop the same again. 6'6" to 6'7" with long arms, big hands, and the chest, back & shoulder strength to punch & chop is a must. Basketball players, are not built for street fights in a phone booth, which is exactly what every 1 on 1 matchup is in football. The power dynamic & training is totally different, even though basketball & soccer footwork would be beneficial. Randy Moss, a known Hooper, had sense enough to not go over the middle willingly. They were hunting for a shot on him, he knew it, and he probably took less than 10 blow up hits in his career. His coaches needed him too much to sacrifice him to that kill zone between LB & S. He sprinted thru it going deep or he knocked the ball down. NBA players go crazy when they get knocked down & fallen on. You might have 2+ huge dudes take you down on every play in football. It ain't about being soft. Football purists are simply wired differently. You have to be to joyfully get into 60 to 70 car crashes every game. There's a huge difference between accepting a physical brand of basketball & committing to ongoing violent collisions.
That dude in the white shirt know we can see his big ass tryna duck behind the couch lol . Like, he gotta know what angle the camera switches to when they watch stuff on the big screen 😂😂😂
No. It's not just simple like that. It's using your hands, getting off a jam, catching a slant through a tight window, catching a bullet period, running an effective route, getting hit, taking a hit, pocket presence, sealing/setting an edge, getting low enough to tackle, hat placement, not holding. Anquan Bolden and Larry the only 2 that had game, both receivers. I guarded both and gave both work. Stop the cap Pat, you couldn't beat a high schooler unless they let you foul.
So the only reason Nba players cant play in the NFL is they too soft and cant take hits? Im gonna need better reasons than that
I know someone who was invited to an NFL training after he completed college. He said he was hit harder than he’d ever been hit in his life & right then & there he was grateful for having taken advantage of his scholarship as he perused a career in business.

Bro nba players shuttle run is half the size of a nfl shuttle run and they still take 3 seconds to do that shit lmao

NBA players can do well in the NFL
Football player play basketball for fun. Can any basketball player say that???
No. It's not just simple like that. It's using your hands, getting off a jam, catching a slant through a tight window, catching a bullet period, running an effective route, getting hit, taking a hit, pocket presence, sealing/setting an edge, getting low enough to tackle, hat placement, not holding. They make it seem like it's black and white
Basketball players used to piss me off with this shit back in hs
