I grew up in an orphanage. The staff who made the best pork chops was a young black lady. She fried them, baked them or cut them up and made them into a delicious sandwich. I will always remember her and her pork chops.
I LOVE the way you "teach" It's so real! My grandpa was a CPO and a cook in the Coast Guard for 29 years. He fried the best pork chops on Planet Earth. And yours look just like his. I remember him flouring his twice! I've tried many times and mine are never very good. You've encouraged me to try again. Bless you good!
GURL! You seemed trustworthy and I loved the video but these PORKCHOPS!!!!!!!!!!! ARE SO!!!! GOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!! I don’t think I have ever put anything this good in my mouth EVER! You should be famous and celebrated for this. Thank you so so so much. Love from Idaho ❤️

😮😮 oh My I tried your recipe tonight 2/5 /24 absolutely delicious, perfectly fried ,I think the resting and double flouring is the secret, thanks much and very simple ❤❤❤❤ plus the very hot oil
I made this dish today! Now I know that I use a little different ingredients but my pork chops came out really, really good, thanks to you being such a cute little teacher! You are truly wonderful--and I am very happy! Thank you for this great video on great delicious fried Southern pork chops! Now if only I could make good fried chicken...
To keep the pork chop from bubbling up, you need to cut a couple of notches, completely thru to the meat, on the outer fat ring around the pork chop. It takes the tension of the fat from shrinking as it cooks and allows the meat to stay flatter. Great video and looks so delicious and perfect.
Oh mannnn, this takes me back! A good ole po' chop samich with hot sauce! 😋 😋 I love that you called it "light bread," and not white bread! I love the south! We just do things a different way! Thanks for sharing!

I cook my chicken and chops the exact same way and using the same exact ingredients. My husband and kids love them. My husband loves pork chop sandwiches, too. Nice video, seriously.
Girl, you brought my pork chop game to a whole other level! Your egg YOLK (not just egg) & corn starch suggestions gained you a subscriber for life! I appreciate it! Gonna TRY hot sauce this evening, but I'm a wimp so, we shall see! ❤
Wow!! I've always been intimidated by making pork chops. I make great fried chicken, tenders, fish, country fried steak and the one thing i can't seem to get right is pork chops. My uncle used to make the best pork chops in the world and I've tried for years to make it like his. Yours looks just like his, i can smell it through the phone! So nostalgic it almost brought a tear to my eye!! This looks absolutely delicious, easy and I can't wait to use your recipe! Followed your recipe except adding Tumeric as you said we can omit and Pokechops came out perfect. Husband said they were delicious and family just enjoyed them. Will keep these on rotation. Thank you so very much!
first time ever ever ever ever at 39yrs old have i successfully fried any kind of meat... thank u thank u thank u, the kids approved 100 percent if that says anything thank u so much
The bone is the moisture and flavor, chops won't have " small bones". Try the " thin sliced bone in " it's the " T- Bone of Pork Chops" !!! Let me know what you think ❤
My kids and husband went nuts! Although I grew up with grandparents who tried like this, I don’t. It was my first time crying pork chops, and thanks to you, they were amazing.
Followed your recipe except adding Tumeric as you said we can omit and Pokechops came out perfect. Husband said they were delicious and family just enjoyed them. Will keep these on rotation. Thank you so very much! Going to need to try your fried chicken recipe next.
I like to make a couple of cuts through the fat around the chop and just down to the meat. That cuts through that thin tissue that shrinks and causes chops to “cup” when fried. Doing so keeps them nice and flat when that tissue shrinks during cooking.
I use a wooden spoon's handle to test my grease. If the grease bubbles around the spoon's handle, the grease is hot enough. I've been seasoning my porkchops 🥩 and flour like you EXCEPT I use straight water to dip my porkchops into. I coat my porkchops 🥩 twice, as well. The water 💧 and cornstarch/flour mixture makes the most crunchy, fried chicken, porkchops 🥩 😋 you've ever seen! Delicious!! ❤ Try it! You'll love this version!! 👍🏾👍🏾😊
These pork chops look DELICIOUS!!! Personally, I find that paprika burns quicker than garlic powder and onion powder. I also don't fry anything with milk or buttermilk because it browns too quickly too.

listen here!!! Perfection. I can’t do eggs so I used mustard instead and my standard seasonings (added tumeric + hot sauce per your recipe) but that “let it rest”, double flour, and “leave it ‘lone” is top tier! That tumeric adds a nice flavor. I’ve never understood why my bros & uncles would get a pokechop sammich. I mean…it’s just a porkchop and bread. What that bread do?!?! You inspired me to finally try it as a sandwich. l fried it up tonight and slapped it on some bread…baybee! that thang was GOODT! That crunch too! Yeszuh

I do not eat pork chops. When I saw you put that pork chop on a slice of bread with some hot sauce, YUMMMMY! It looks delicious. I'm making this tonight for my hubby. Thanks.
I’m glad you put in the captions & explain everything! When I first started “trying” to cook about 20 years ago 😂I couldn’t figure out why my breadcrumbs would fall off sometimes & sometimes none at all came off. I was too embarrassed to ask someone what I was doing wrong. I’m actually making some tomorrow night. All those chops I could’ve saved 😢
I thought I was the only one that liked pork chops and fried chicken with a piece of white bread mmmmm I’m definitely making this recipe thanks for sharing it!
I have to have a piece of buttered white bread with my hot fried chicken. After the first batch I eat one of the pieces while the rest is frying. Delicious. I love hot or cold fried chicken but I want the bread with a hot piece.
A trick to NOT having those big bubbles form in the middle of your chop is to cut slits along the “fat” side of the chop every inch or so. I use kitchen scissors & cut into the fat every inch or so. I never made fried pork chops in my 44 years of living. I made these for my husband and son. They LOVED them! Only thing I did differently was smash them with a meat pounder so they weren't so thick.
These pork chops look deeelicious. I am looking forward to trying them. I love your commentary as you describe how to cook the chops. I tell you that's some good looking fried pork, I have a Fry Daddy deep fryer can I use that recipe in that deep fryer. Much love thank you for showing me that video.❤❤❤❤
I’m so glad I saw this post. Duh, I think I know why I burned pork chops on my first try a few weeks ago. I didn’t know to add that much oil. Nor, not too much garlic. Thank you for your advice.

I test the grease with a little flour. If it sizzles…it’s hot.
Yep! Me too! Learned that from my Momma a long time ago!
Water. A droplet of water.
If you have some bamboo skewers, dip the pointed end of the skewer to the oil. Bubbles will come out of the skewer and it means ready to fry.
Or, just use thermometer and when it reaches 320 degress you can put it in..
@sonnybarry That's going to get someone get pop with oil 🤡

Looks amazing! And nothing like a good ole fried “poke” chop sandwich with hot sauce. Thanks for sharing!!! ❤

Omg I'm about to fry pork chops and have me a pork chop sandwich with some hot sauce lol 😂😂

NDK. No damn ketchup
It’s better with mustard
