You really simplified the bridge hammock build for me, I have watched Grizz's how to and felt it was beyond what i can do. I will have to attempt one now, thanks a bunch! P.S. your assistant seemed a little camera shy!
HAVE ADDED THIS TO MY FAVOURITES LIST FOR A FUTURE PROJECT...WHEN MATERIALS BECOME CHEAPER WHERE I AM :-) LOOKED LIKE IT TOOK SOME PERSUADING FOR HIKING MOM TO BE VIDEOED , SHE DID GREAT :-) GREAT VIDEO, I REALLY ENJOYED AS I HAVE ONLY SEEN VIDEOS FOR TIE-ENDED HAMMOCKS SO FAR AND TBH I DON'T LIKE THE LOOK OF THEM! KEEP UP THE GREAT UPLOADS :-D CHEERS RICHIE.
great video man.youve got alot of talent. have you ever tried to make a double bridge hammock..built for two. kinda like the clark jungle hammock but minus all the extra heavy stuff??
Great video. What lengths were your spanner poles? I'm guessing that your dog bone lengths were based on that? I'm converting a Hammock Bliss to a bridge hammock using 36" 0.625" spanners, will your dog bone lengths work for that or do I need to adjust? Thanks.
Hi im in the uk and struggling to find something suitable to make spreader bars with it seems bridge hammock just aren’t that popular over here do you have any suggestions on spreader bars ?
Great videos! Unless your wife is very tall, I think this will be to short for me. I am 6'4" How long does the material need to be to give me an extra 6" over my body length?
awesome! altho i'm not building a bridge hammock, I have something slightly different in mind, you helped with so much info on building/sewing/basics etc etc! see ya on the forum! :D
Yeah... I was bummed a bit not to make it to the FBH. Anyways, I don't sell these hammocks, but I encourage you to try it out... fairly simple process!
Thanks a lot for this. Now I'm going to have to make one to go with my Wolf Hammock. Any idea if Dutch plans on adding any of this gear to his site? Or do we just need to contact him?

In the name of saving a couple bucks do you think soft shackles or a small continuous loop would work to replace the Dutch triangle?
How did you determine the length of your spreader bars?
When will you be doing a video on a Bridge bugnet?

I am definitely going to try this. Where did you get the black 1/2" webbing? I see Scott at DIYGearSupply only has white. I'd like to use black.
I don't remember exactly. I purchased in bulk. I know others have purchased from strap works.
rip stop by the roll, dutchwear gear, zpacks, seattle fabrics are some places you could look for materials and parts and roll goods.

How much did it all weigh at the end?
Not bad at all but why don't you recommend making the suspension hardware yourself and turn it into 100% diy?????
