      Your hormones are acting on you, you should stop skipping meals, seems like your muscles are getting enough energy and so your body sensed that and decided to slow down your metabolism

      The meals might be high in calories, count them and eat more (in volume)

    ALL THESE CANS AND CAN'T DO DOES NOT APLLY TO THOSE WHO HAVE UNDERLYING MEDICAL CONDITION AND GENETIC DISORDERS . For those who are predisposed to being overweight or even perhaps underweight and have being trying absolute everything to achieve goal really need to understand basic biology gene expression genetics in order to just accept the fact that your body at a certain age just can not and will not be the way you want it to be.

    People dont understand that what is usually meant by this is consuming 1 big meal a day that has low nutritions but high calories vs low calorie volumized diet when you eat every few hours. It is volume in vs volume out, not calories in and calories out. But counting calories is the way here.

    Very nicely explained love from India. My height is 183 cm and body weight 69 kg. All my family members and friends are saying that you are very lean. Sometimes I also feels the same but I never feel low in energy and very active though out the day. It is very difficult for me to gain weight. What to do?

    Is there a way to stop the crazy weight swings from eating too little? Your friend the NHL player sounds like me every weekend even if I’m only bad once a week

      Hmmm sorry to hear things aren't going your way, John.
      It sounds like you may benefit from working with our team of nutrition coaches to help you figure out food habits that work for you and your needs:
      LINK(S):
      www.precisionnutrition.com/coaching-for-women

      In particular, you may really benefit from unlearning concepts of being "good" or "bad" as it relates to food and eating, helping you to learn what you need to be successful with your transformation, but also making food choices less complex, and decoupling food from morality. Then you won't be "good" or "bad", you'd just be "John"!

    Man you are oversimplifying this subject a lot.
    We have Hormones and much more stuff that change our body composition. Forget about weight, someone can look way leaner at 140 pounds than someone at 120 pounds. People don't exactly wanna lose "weight" , they want to burn fat

      Good comment, for real semantics more often than not is messing people's perception of how body mechanics and health works. Here is to hoping incorrect semantics and misinformation dissipate more in the future, but not going to hold my breath.
