yeah it really does make a difference in the depth. i know you're supposed to keep it matte for maximum darkness but when we compare this to traditional black paints for tumblers, there's no comparison!
that is some DARK black! WOW! Beautiful cup! Also a little tip: I use that brown packaging paper from in the box the paint came in to line my crafting table tops to keep them clean. I just tape it down with masking tape.
TFS this paint. I clicked on link. And I'll bet a lot of people will be buying this paint. I already have plans for it. Your tutorials are the best. I love seeing you, listening to your directions. Yoi keep it simple snd easy to understand. the tips are invaluable especially the reverse weeding thing and drying times, etc. Thanks again. And to quote a great woman, "that's enough chit chat from me". Gonna order my paint now.
Love your videos!! Its what got me into this whole world! I had been eyeing this paint to try and now I just might be sold 😅. I would love to see your interpretation of a mermaid scale tumbler❤ thank you love the videos keep being so awesome and inspiring ❤
so amazing! u never cease to amaze me. I have to get this paint for my cups. so amazing you are. God bless you and yours. I could watch your tutorials all day.
I love how this one turned out! I definitely want some of this paint and thanks for the wonderful tutorial! I struggle with this brand of transfer tape. Mostly with not being able to reuse it after the first use. It’s good transfer tape but not a good fit for me.
I want to thank you for sharing your tutorial videos 📹 with us all ❣ And this is a must get so I am going to be spending some more money I don't need to 🤣
First of all, your tumbler turned out AMAZING! 😍😍😍😍 I’m always very impressed when someone can get a nice epoxy finish over plain black without glitter or anything else to hide the normal tiny flaws that just happen. Even though I totally LOVE the look of using black, it’s too much of a pain in the butt for me to do on a regular basis. Now, about the Black 3.0. It (and all of the other “blackest black” paints) achieves the super-black effect because the matte finish allows it to absorb more visible light. So, how does the epoxied Black 3.0 tumbler’s level of blackness compared to an epoxied regular black tumbler? If there is a difference in the blackness level on the finished tumblers, do you feel it’s worth the money to get the Black 3.0? Is this something you would try again, or was it simply a fun experiment? Sorry for all of the questions. I’m seriously geek-level fascinated by the whole blackest black paint thing, and I fell WAY down a research rabbit hole awhile back when I learned about Stuart Semple’s feud with Anish Kapoor. I ❤️ how Stuart’s clap-back pettiness toward Anish is totally next level on the Culture Hustle site. That reason alone ALMOST makes me want to buy some of his Black 2.0 of Black 3.0. 😂😂 Side note - Check out The Action Lab channel’s blackest black experiment videos. They’re super cool! Plus, the excitement and enthusiasm he has for teaching is infectious.
Thank you. Yes, it really is diffident from any other painted black tumbler I’ve ever created and I think moving forward I’d like to exclusively use this paint for black cups. I personally just like the look better.
Beautiful wow! I am never disappointed with your YT’s 💕😻 how do you know when you can resize in design space? I have a file I am having issues with. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
As usual I love your tutorial. But how in the world is there not one speck of anything on that black cup? I always have a fleck or two or three of glitter that ends up on mine. I have a cabinet like yours too. I need to know what magic you use! 😂😂
Hey Girl Hey, look, my sister asked me for a zodiac cup and just by chance she is a Pisces. But my question is can I try this with a purple background instead of black, do you think it would come out ok? Her favorite color is purple. As always thanks for all you do and I love you here and FB.
do you have the whole image selected before ungrouping? Did you load the SVG version into design space? The file comes with several versions you want to make sure you're not using the .png version.
Wow! Love that vinyl, the design, and the paint. It's crazy how your black gloves look slightly grey next to the paint!
yeah it really does make a difference in the depth. i know you're supposed to keep it matte for maximum darkness but when we compare this to traditional black paints for tumblers, there's no comparison!
Anyone else remember those books or pages where you can scratch the black to design it bc under the black was color? That’s what this reminds me of!
yeah those were super fun!
that is some DARK black! WOW! Beautiful cup! Also a little tip: I use that brown packaging paper from in the box the paint came in to line my crafting table tops to keep them clean. I just tape it down with masking tape.

Thank you so much Melissa!
It's pretty
I love the paint and cup. I think you could really appreciate it's dark value with a matte design. Curious!

This is so pretty.Thank you ❤️
Thank you Mindy!
Beautiful wow! I am never disappointed with your YT’s 💕😻 how do you know when you can resize in design space? I have a file I am having issues with. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much! As long as you can ungroup the design, you can resize it to fit your project.
this is awesome
Thank you!!
I love that camper cup, ordered me 2 and used your discount. If I don’t have quick coat can the vinyl be sealed with clear sealer?
Thank you 😊 yes i think so
As usual I love your tutorial. But how in the world is there not one speck of anything on that black cup? I always have a fleck or two or three of glitter that ends up on mine. I have a cabinet like yours too. I need to know what magic you use! 😂😂
haha thank you Jackie!
Love this design! How do you clean the open top of the tumbler after you epoxy?
Once I’m totally done I just clean it out with some acetone and pick off any excess epoxy inside. Then wash it out with dishsoap and water.
Do you use the quick coat for your final coat? Also, which is the best epoxy to put over white? Looking for one that doesn’t yellow over time.
I use Amazing Clear Cast plus for the final coat because it has UV protection in it
@@FlynnSistersBoutique thank you.
You can add a little bit of blue dye to your epoxy so it doesn’t yellow over time ! @dana smith

oh yeah definitely! thanks!
I make constellation tumblers.
I bet theyre beautiful!
What software are you using
Cricut design space
I’m not able to edit the design 😕 for some reason design space will not let me ungroup..any advice?
do you have the whole image selected before ungrouping? Did you load the SVG version into design space? The file comes with several versions you want to make sure you're not using the .png version.
@@FlynnSistersBoutique thank you! I will check which one I downloaded! You are amazing thank you so much🤗
Do you not need to expose the top rim with this method
I did. I always sand around the rim, I just left that part out of this video 😊
How did you get the file to ungroup? It will not let me ungroup it in cricut design space.
as soon as you add the file to your canvas, while it's still selected click ungroup
@@FlynnSistersBoutique it was the file that was downloaded. It didn’t have a svg file just a png.
Where can I get templates for tumblers
Hi Dyane, the zodiac file was purchased on Etsy. I have a link to the shop in the description box.
What is the name of the transfer tape
The transfer tape is from Craftopia and is also linked in the description box.
