I am just getting started in creating tumblers, i have been having trouble with transfer tape and it not picking up the vinyl, especially glittered vinyl. Any suggestions of what type to use?

You can just cut them a little latger than i did in the tutorial if you'd like them thicker than mine 😊

Love love this design! Are you using quick coat epoxy for all layers?
I juat use the quick coat to seal my decals before epoxy.
At 5:50 for your first step, you took the tape off of your drying glitter, did you seel the chunky glitter before you put tape on it to do the other side? I'm doing my blue side first and putting fine glitter on all of it and I feel like mine would need to be seeled before I tape it off to do the other side. I just don't want to miss any steps! I hope I'm making sense. And as always, I LOVE your work!

I wanted to know which machine would you get and/or would you say that it’s a “must have” to creating Name decals, Cute Word Sayings, etc?
And with all the recent changes (or the changes that will take effect in Dec 2021-Jan 2022) would you or any of your wonderful followers break it down for me.
Since the Cricuts are majorly on sale, does it still cost $7.99-$9.99 to gain access to the Cricuts Design Space/Cricuts Access (which would be a total of about $120 a year/extra)….would the Silhouette Design Space and their machine: either the Cameo or Portrait (I may have the names wrong) but are they comparable to Cricuts Explore Air 2/Maker 1??

I would start with a silhouette cameo. It’s really hard to switch over once you learn one machine and with the changes, I wouldn’t want to start with Cricut. I have a Cricut explore air 2 and a silhouette cameo. I love my Cricut but the software stuff is annoying. I’ve been using a Cricut for 11 years tho so it’s hard for me to learn something new with the silhouette

Does Alumilite have a smell to it? I currently use Pro Marine and it gives me headaches.
All epoxy has a smell to it and it’s all toxic. So yes, it does. Proper PPE and adequate ventilation is a must
So if I wanted the blue side and white side sparkley, how would I do that? Just spray paint, put a thin layer of epoxy on, then put the glitter all over the cup? Or do I put it in the epoxy?
You can put a little bit of a fine opal glitter in your epoxy

Jessica, what brand name of vinyl and transfer paper do you use? It always looks so easy when you do it. I have to struggle to get mine to adhere to the transfer paper. I use Cricut vinyl and transfer paper. I'm new at all this and it stresses me out so much that I just want to give up. Thank you very much.

Do you have to use stainless steel tumblers to use the epoxy?
I would highly recommend since they don’t flex and are sturdy
