One of the saddest and moving of musical works, sublimely played. I gather that it conjures up a man dancing with the ghost of his mother!
Actually, a young woman dancing with Death.
@@violinhunter2 but death in form of her husband.
😢
Is my prefered piece of Jean Sibelius .
We're glad that you like it! 😊
Wie schön ist das ..!
Freut uns, dass es Ihnen gefällt! 😊

So beautifully delicate, so romantic. It doesn't feel sad to me at all
🤗
it's more like beautiful melancholy. Very finnish indeed:)
This might be the best rendition of Valse Triste I've ever heard. It sounds like they may have taken Eugene Ormandy's classic rendition (Philadelphia Philharmonic) and perhaps kicked it up a slight notch.
Thank you! ❤
We are so glad that you like it.

Magnifique ! ❤❤❤

There's something of Liebestod in It.
Inno alla tristezza...altro non c'e' nella vita
Sibelius ist besser als Mahler... There I saod it!
sonst spielt ers nicht so schnell… komisch
