I dug a little into the topic and heard some rumors of miclee apparently being a little disliked in the community before he even received the cape (and that he had some drama with Notch himself somehow?). I don't know how real any of this is but I think it's a little sus that he'd lose a cape over just players begging for some, cuz that must have happened with every other person who received a custom cape.
Mojang should contact u:micleee and give him/her back his/her cape. That would be pretty cool move, imo.
Imagine if someone had *ONE* of the rarest cape and forgot the password to the account.
Or if they let their little sister play on their account (which is absolutely something that is happening with one of these capes)

@@IMPERZY My old Minecraft account was one of the hardest things to recover. I forgot the password.. and which email it was assigned to. I have 4 different emails I tried, none of which worked. It turned out it was under my dads old email that he forgot the password to and had his old phone-number assigned to it so he wasn't able to get into it. After about 4-6 months, he finally found the password written on a sticky note in his desk and I was able to migrate my first Minecraft account to a Mojang account and under my secondary email address (since I have 2 accounts). So I can tell you, it can be very difficult to recover an account by a simple password reset.
Had I been the millionth person to buy mc and gotten that email, I probably would’ve ignored it thinking it was a scam

Still don’t know why SethBling doesn’t have a Redstone Cape. After all he’s done for the redstone community, he is one of the few people that deserves a personalized cape the most.
I happy with my optifine cape, I used that mod for like 5 years and still using it so I choose to donate to them. Also, I would be happy if that pigmen guy got his cape back, that's kinda unfair

I mostly knew the basics on these capes but I had no idea that DannyB’s account was hacked which was pretty interesting. You could tell the hacker was pretentious by how they just had to keep showing it off.
Oh and btw I’m also a realms mapmaker and I also have the cape, still not as epic at these ones though.

I don‘t like mod capes except the optifine one. BLC capes for example can have animations on them or are a kittle curved to seem more realistic but it just doesn‘t fit the minecraft style
Optifine capes are the closest capes to being a official minecraft cape, since a ton mojang employees have them such as notch.

For me being a veteran of minecraft my first cape is the founders cape and when i remmembered back then when i was young wanting any minecon capes but couldnt and in 2019 i was so suprised that this minecon i could get it in bedrock whitout being at the minecon since it made one of my freams become true feeling a old dream being completed and since it looks like the 2011 minecon cape it made me think of the good old days for me it looked like a mix of old capes vibe and modern days cape.

I'm happy that I was able to get a Minecon 2013 cape. I hated the design at the time (mainly because I found 2011/2012's so superior) but I came to appreciate it.

so I preordered minecraft for the xbox 360 and in about 2014-2015 I got a skin pack with all capes except the personalized ones and I don't know if they are related or not but I always thought capes were cool and im really glad they were added to minecraft bedrock

When minecon 2016 happened, for some reason Mojang let us get every minecon cape if you were on bedrock. I wish I still had them but the tablet I used when I got it got reset.
Also minecon 2016 happened on my brother’s birthday, and in the state I live in AND we were at Knott’s Berry Farm at the time so when we were to leave we just checked it out.

When Fit doesn't say "The Oldest Anarchy server in Minecraft": (insert shocked person)
Part of me was surprised you didn’t mention optifine capes, but then I remembered that they technically aren’t part of vanilla minecraft, and can only be seen and used if you have optifine installed and purchase a cape. I still like optifine capes however, considering you can customize them yourself. But they’ll always be the ‘fake’ capes in minecraft.
