Monsieur Jonny, we are so glad you keep the habit at least twice a year to decoy pigeons with Mr Payne, so many thing to learn with his studies... Still the clearest shotcam videos and perfect comments! Keep the good work and have a great summer, thanks for sharing.
Once again JC you nail the relationship part of the hunt. Your interaction with your partner in the blind was able to be felt through the video. JC you have a great way of being a good student when the master is present. Please keep up the awesome videos. From the US, enjoy the cool weather. WG
What a absolutely fantastic video, could watch these for hours and hours...I would pull my own teeth for a day with Paul..what a true expert! Great Content.
Brilliant as always, looking forward to the next couple of months when the pigeon shooting gets good here in Norfolk/Suffolk. Not as many as in Essex but I really wouldn’t want to have to prepare that amount of birds for my freezer in one outing 🤪 I look forward to your next adventure 🤩🤩
Great video! Great videography! Mr. Payne is a master of his craft and you (we) are so lucky to have him teach you (us) the way of the wood pigeon. I would gladly hunt with him any day! One question, I have heard conflicting reports around finding game dealers to buy up the daily bags. Does Mr. Payne experience problems selling his birds? Now my little dig. Last September in the US desert southwest, the temperature fluctuated between 99-104F on the opening day of dove season. 82F with humidity would have been welcomed. Yea... Yea... I Know... My 104F is a dry heat...
Many game dealers are not taking pigeons now and exporting them as to much paper work and not worth their time, i know of only 2 in 40 miles, and 20p is price per bird when a cartridge is 30/40p , so it is a problem trying to to find a end user
@@paulpayne1264 Mr. Payne, what a wonderful surprise. Thank you so much for your explanation. I have really enjoyed this series with TGS and hope to see you both again soon.
@@paulpayne1264 Hi Paul, you still have the enthusiasm to get out on daily basis, I would see a few woodies on rape clover or peas and be at it, haven't done it for years never the bags you get my best just shy of 100 @ Old Hall farm 40 years ago blimey that long !!
Yes it’s pushing 48 years now and still don’t sleep well when I know I’m in for a big one lol I had a 443 and Sunday a 423 so I need a rest now, but out watching today to shoot Tuesday 🤣🙈
Very, with little payed at the game dealer if you can find one that takes pigeons now !! That is why so many people are packing the sport in due to cost , kind regards Paul
What do you do with all those birds? I have a tiny permission I visit weekly, and the dozen or so woodies usually end in the freezer, burgers etc. but can't imagine plucking/breasting 230 of them!
Great video but In that temperature and a lot less, left out those birds would be fly blown in five minutes, green in a couple of hours, invest in a few XL net carp sacks, no flyblown birds.
Great video, obviously a very knowledgeable man; but with regards to pre building a hide in some circumstances I’d have to disagree with him, I’ve had some great days after building a hide a day in advance.
That’s fine is wind direction is the same as when you have watched the birds the day before but as I said in film if wind direction changes on the day of shooting you will be in the wrong place 👍
UA-cam announced new restrictions for channels like this. Apparently they also are censoring comments more than ever, but forgot to mention that. Remember, liberals are the most tolerant of anyone, provided they agree with what you are doing.

Jonny is a great guy to shoot with and a talented shot, Paul
Jonny you really do manage to nail content on the relationship between sport and the serious countryside topics around hunting.
Great job.

Bloody hell what's all that blue in the background?!
233! Impressive! Expensive too!

So do I understand correctly, the shotkam is designed just of a video of the bird and seeing your hit point ?
Many different advantages of using it, the main points are line and lead to watch back at home and seeing how you are shooting, very good product 👍
What do you do with all those birds? I have a tiny permission I visit weekly, and the dozen or so woodies usually end in the freezer, burgers etc. but can't imagine plucking/breasting 230 of them!
Hi, all my birds are used or I would not shoot them, game dealer/ ferret sanctuary 👍
@@paulpayne1264 Thanks Paul, your a star 👍
Anytime 🤝
Does Paul sort corvids out too ? That would be an interesting video
Hi, yes if they come with in shot 👍but not normally as I don’t have the time as so busy k😢up with pigeon damage
How much you need to shake hands? Is with comming and leaving while thanking for the invitation not enough?
Where can you find those “flappers”- the machine which flaps the dead birds wings?
Gotta get a couple of those.👍
These are flight line decoys, the best in uk , called ff6 and ff7
Hi, I wanted to ask how to make the red dot appear in the video. A thousand thanks
On ShotKam?
The old boys say that the farmer Used to give you the carriages😮😮
All my farmers buy my cartridges, they do this on results ie one cartridge per bird , pic taken and sent farmer as proof of the bag 👍
What shot size was the steel you were using?
4👍
Bird dog to help with bird pickup?
No, not on barley as barbed heads , very bad for dogs ears and paws so all picked up by hand
Had to laugh when Jonny said 26c was “hot” as i sit here watching it where it’s 40c.
Great video but In that temperature and a lot less, left out those birds would be fly blown in five minutes, green in a couple of hours, invest in a few XL net carp sacks, no flyblown birds.
Not if birds left in wind, never have I got green birds at end of day!
Great video, obviously a very knowledgeable man; but with regards to pre building a hide in some circumstances I’d have to disagree with him, I’ve had some great days after building a hide a day in advance.

26 degrees 😂😂
I know, he has no idea.
Awesome video, thanks! But 26C is hot? Really? I’m swinging a sledgehammer all day in 43C heat right now and I’m 59! 🥵😁👍🏼👍🏼
Only gets higher in in exceptionally hot summers. Average annual UK temperature is 9C.
26°c + UK heat is hot and muggy 😅
👍🤝
I really feel for you in that heat . Not!
What the hell UA-cam, I can't even send a simple blood message now! 😡
