welcome to Japan. I always watch your videos from Japan. You can't beat the beautiful Maui that I love so much, but please enjoy Japan. Please visit places other than Tokyo. I want to go to Maui again.
Hello and thanks SOP6853. Appreciate you watching. Yea, I left Tokyo realizing that Japan has much more to offer than Tokyo. I hope you get back to Maui soon. I'm in Hong Kong now and will post later. Best Wishes.
Hello Wilalatrs. Many thanks and always good to see you here. Really appreciate you. Yea, it's a bit different. That is for sure. Keep watching and I'll keep them coming. Best Wishes.
Hello Jimmy. Thanks always for watching. The food at the 7-11 stores is mostly what you would expect -- plastic bowls of rice with something on top. A lot of rice with a meat or veggies on top. No sandwiches. But some had some fried foods, mostly chicken. I was surprised, overall, at how little fish was available. Mostly eel, mussels, and squid. A LOT of squid dishes. Oh, well. I'm in Hong Kong now and quickly see the Chinese influence. Stay safe and sane and salty. Best Wishes.
Hey Gill. Yea, I think the richest guy in Japan is the Neon Sale Guy! Geeezzzz. Japan seems to be a very "visual" country and especially Tokyo. Thanks for watching and commenting. Best Japanese Wishes.
Hey ... Always good to see you. Tuesday (Monday for you) was up at 4am, taxi to bus station, bus to Tokyo Narita airport, 4 1/2 hour flight on Hong Kong Airlines to Hong Kong. It's now Wednesday morning for me. I'll get some videos up today. Thanks and stay safe, sane and salty.
Hey .. yes, Tokyo does not have much of any "fast food" and certainly no pizza. I was looking for a good pizza place. I think some hotels offer a pizza through their own restaurant, but it's not common on the streets of Tokyo. Maybe, perhaps, I just didn't notice it. But HONG KONG -- They got pizza. In some ways, I see many opportunities, but not with the locals. Sorta like Maui, where you must have a mix of tourists and locals to be successful. Thanks and stay sane a bit.
Hello Raymond. Yes, quite an "interesting" place and if you don't like crowds and crowds and lots of people everywhere, Tokyo is not for you. It's crazy chaos. I see many Japanese locals looking at city maps trying to figure out how to get somewhere. Take care and stay salty. Best Wishes.
Hey Phil. Yes, sensory overload. But there's 37 Million people in Tokyo, and best I can remember only about 24 Million on Waikiki Beach. LOL. But here I have yet to see a bikini and there's somewhat of a good chance you'll see that on Waikiki Beach. I can't remember. Stay safe and salty. Best Wishes.
Did you see any Hawaiian restaurant there?
