A bus like that would be a dream come true for me. I've had 3 travel trailers over the years and now thinking I would like to do a 'schoolie'. Convert a bus into a motor home. I love the classic styling on these buses. What a treasure! Congradulations to you....
You’ve hit the jackpot with this one Jason. Good on you for holding out for the right one. This sure fits the bill. Looking forward to watching more of the restoration journey.
any engine work leave it to Scott of Bus Grease Monkey being it will have a detroit diesel 6-71 two stroke in it. any major drivetrain, brakes, springs wheel bearings leave that for bus grease monkey. as prior to starting the engine i would be sure the fuel rack is not stuck so the engine won't run away on you. there should be an emergency flap on the intake before the blower to shut it down if it occurs. if you do a Rv conversion the rear engine access as Scott of bus grease monkey says you MUST leave it accessable if any engine work has to be done.
I have a 1953 greyhound it’s for sale 671 Detroit it’s got too many parts to list that are new insides been redone but not finished. It needs a entry door. I’m trying to get people to help me find one. Thank you.

Check with Stan @ The Bus Boys. He is well connected and perhaps knows where you can find one.
