Gosh that's a nice plane! Looks really scale. I love the invasion stripes and the see-through windows. Glad your reflexes saved the takeoff! I've subscribed to you guys after watching two of your videos - I reckon I'll spend the weekend going through your library - great channel!
I did a few more flights with this plane. Once it tipped on landing. You really do have to keep a bit of power on when landing. But it flies awesome and it has presence in the air.
I also have one of these but I live in Western Washington where there are 4000 trees per square miles. I envy you gents for not only living where there are fewer trees but also seem to have access to an honest to goodness abandoned air strip. Great catch, btw, just after take off with your left wing dropping.
I have the motors out of the Flightline P-38 that Motion RC sells. The props are from their Flightline B-24. The motor Should run 4s but with those props, I'm running 6s and it still running pretty low amperage. Works well for this plane
The motors are from a Motion RC / Flightline P38 and the props are from a Motion RC / Flightline B24. This setup will require 6s batteries. The recommended motors and props will run on 4s. I haven't run it with 4s and the recommended motors but i assume it's more efficient than my setup. Check out Motion RC and it does list what motor is recommended.
Really nice job all round - great landing
Glad you found our series helpful. Congratulations on your successful maiden
Very nice, thorough maiden.

Our runway wasn't an full size runway ever. It's a runway specifically for rc planes. I do wish it was maintained better but yes, pretty nice to have.
Do you have a link to your setups, especially motors?
