The comp thinks that our midfield is worp Nash newc daisy but in 2 years time it will be daisy wedds newc huskwaite! Last year they gave daisy 5 year contract worp 2 years what does that mean😮? There was an article in Herald Sun about Nash and Nash said hawk's have put contract discussions of till mid year and I have a rite to explore free agency but I'm happy at hawk's what does that sound like! 😮 the only thing that keeps worp is if huskwaite does not come good but he is a quality talent only played 3 games a subb 3 times! So hawk's are thinking we will give huss till end of next season and give worp only 2 year contract! Understand???? That will be a powerhouse midfield cam and wardy will be bigger stronger and high talented players on the outside and Massimo all elite ball users and wedds and daisy newc all power clearence players and huss a quality ball user but really tall! We have 10 players less than 30 games about 12 players under 21 we have 7 of our best 22 out! In 3 years from now with some top trades we will be back on top! And second half of this season we will be A dangerous team and shock all the afl! Trust me on this! With the players out and all the kids we should not be beating anyone yet alone north almost pies and close to dons! Glenn from fern tree gully!!

What a terrible umpiring display all round. In quarters 1 and 4 I would have believed tgat they were trying to umpire North into the game. But in the 2nd and 3rd we (hawks) got tge frees we deserved and some we didn't.
What is the point of even having goal umpires now? They only make a decision when it is obvious to everyone including blind Freddy. Just two pointless people on the ground.
Finn Maginness is starting to add a couple of extra strings to his bow. He is very effective as a defensive forward. He is still not a great kick but he is understanding his strengths more and more and playing to them. He is strong, competitive, has a big tank and always gives 100%
The elbow to the head he copped in the last quarter would have put a lot of guys out of the game. How that wasn't a free to him is beyond me.
Not sure he makes it into the 22 when we are at full strength, though….
@@kazbee6978 Yeah, it is difficult. I can see how he would at his best but at this stage it would have to be as a tagger with a specific job. His game against Daicos when we played Collingwood last year was elite. If he turned into a defensive forward who averages 1.5 goals/game then it would be hard to not select him in the best 22. I don't think that is beyond him. He seems to kick for goal better than his field kicking. He is only 23 and played less than 40 games. Most players don't play their best until they hit about 25 and have played 80-100 games. I am hopeful more than confident but I think he can become a good consistent player.
