@@kinggambino3698 bottom 4 last 2 maybe 3 years, I think a bit of optimism after getting some wins on the board against some sides that were expected to be making the finals is definitely something to be excited about. If north were in the same position im sure their fans would be super happy with the progress shown from one of the youngest sides in the competition.

Bit harsh Kane. Gunston played 14 games in his 2 years at the Crows. That's a bit player. Average 7 games a year I'd want more opportunities. First year at Hawks, 19 games. About 2%, 1 in 50 make 250 games. Not much of an achievement, yeah right. Once over the white line, play fair and hard. Once back over the line nothing wrong with showing respect. You give it, you get it back. What do you suggest? Go back to rooms and sook? Maybe why not many people were in your corner your last fight. Lol, does that mean you don't show N Brown respect cos he flogged you.

Scott Pendlebury will likely play his 400th game this year, that's guard of honor worthy. Dusty will play 300 and join the top 100 all time to do it and only the 6th in Tigers history, MAYBE that's guard of honor worthy.
Gunston hit a nice milestone that some 600 players before him achieved. There's no reason for Adelaide to hang around and clap off the team that just smoked them, not for that and it cheapens what is supposed to be a gesture reserved for generational greatness.
Exactly, I’ve had a tear in the eye and real emotion from seeing the greats retiring and being chaired of, and for the big milestones you mention. Diminishes the emotion and importance when you see it every second week.

Kane was a great 300 game player (hats off for that milestone), but Gunston and Breust are the only 2 Hawks players left on the squad with the 2013/14/15 threepeat.

Funny, I just saw a video from 10 years ago when Kane had his final game in AFL. Both Richmond and Port formed a guard of honor for him. Guess he forgot about that one

That was Kane's 300th and final game and he was the first at port Adelaide to hit 300 games at the time. That's his entire point and a point made by others constantly. 250 games isn't a guard of honor milestone. Your team can chair you off but it's not guard of honor worthy.

FYI - The Port Adelaide loss wasn't devastating...it was a theft. 19 Seconds added to time on admitted by AFL that led to the Port goal which made the difference...try some addition/multiplication tactics 1st before employing deflection tactics pal...transparent.

Maybe Adelaide are a ‘nice’ club.Their coach was stabbed to death by his son 9 years ago. Probably gave Adelaide some perspective on the game and life that other clubs don’t have.
