Chris, I cannot thank you and Meg enough. On hour 11 of your training and planning to launch on Aug. 1st. Your other videos - as well as Meg’s - help reiterate what to focus on. Really appreciate it!
Great information. I love learning from you. You don’t over complicate anything.
Thanks man! ... your videos are great, and you are easy to listen to ... subscribed! ... I am also on hour 8 on your 21 hour marathon :).
Loving the content!
This was so helpful. I want to start a POD biz and have been learning a lot but am overwhelmed by all of the startup things that need to be done. Thank you for simplifying the Shopify part for me!
Thank you for sharing valuable content as always! By the way, should I strictly adhere to either feminine or masculine design, or can I incorporate both after choosing a niche, based on your experience?
totally agree that building brand is essential for Shopify business. It's best to look for suppliers that can help you with the branding
Hey Chris, great content! Looking forward to another meat and potatoes video!😎👍
Chris. Love your content. I use Printify and Monster Digital. Gildan 6400. I believe that is what you recommended. Do you put your brand labels on inside collar? Seems like a good idea for repeat orders. My front designs don’t mention brand. So that is the only way you would know where shirts came from. Good idea? Or… better to leave off and just have Gildan tear away tags. Didn’t know if that slowed process down for printing. Also, Monster Digital seems slow since coming up from Mexico and long shipping times. Let me know your thoughts.
I really don't understand these haters here. Chris is one of the very very few people that actually provide real content that people can actually learn and use....... for FREE. Go through his course and make thoughtful comments or feedback based on your experience.
Because people won't apply themselves and it's easier to bash and fear monger than working hard and making reality happen. It's why some people never are successful. They spend more time in the negative than positive. They give up before they even start. Chris has set up these businesses for a while so in 1 year he can do this. For someone new or uneducated on the process it might take 2 or more years. They won't make money instantly and they won't know what they did wrong and they would rather bash then fail and learn and grow and do better.
@@thedivide3688 he's a Shopify shill and that's what makes him full of shit.
Dave - thank you man. Means a lot
@@ChrisHeckman Do you have someone that manages your social media platforms?
@@ChrisHeckman I would love to grow your UA-cam channel by editing your UA-cam videos with viewer retention in mind. Are you interested in this?
Thank you ❤
Thank you very much
THANKS MAN!! we are here for more.
Lots more coming soon!
@@ChrisHeckman Thanks for the info!
Have you used Personalization apps & is there one you recommend?
Very nice, i liked the run down of app addons. Maybe do a video about paid vs free/ cheaper versions and what they can do? Thanks!
Great suggestion! I will do that. Thanks
Did the junk traffic issue ever got resolved fully on that one store you did a video on 3 months ago? I'm having same issue but even worse - massive spike in CPCs and 0.6 roas...
Have you stopped running ads for this store? I do not see any ads for this page in the Facebook advertising Library. Also, how did you resolve the suspension of your Google Merchant account? I followed your 21-hour course and was also suspended.
You read and follow the email they sent you. The email literally tells you what you violated or need to correct. If you didn't violate anything you can click the ask for re-review so a human eye can make a determination. But...the email they give you is pretty cut and clear what you did wrong and how to fix it.
@@thedivide3688 I followed Chris 21 hour course so I thought getting suspended is just a mistake but get suspended again when I asked for a review. I ended up researching more into it and learned that it was the design of the store. There are missing information like contacts and addresses. It also needs a more precise return and shipping policy.
Really helpful! Thanks so much for all your videos!
Thanks for watching 🤝
Could you explain why your 1 million dollar site has .68 cents worth of organic traffic
Can you share the timestamp of what you’re referring to?
@@ChrisHeckman Yes so, 7:56 the let it bee shirt on the seasonal site I put that into ahref and it says you only have .68 cents worth of organic traffic, I don't understand how this site makes 1.15 million dollars from that.
Hi Chris, you mentioned that when customer in EU decides to return their order within 14 days you just refund the order and they don't have to return it. Do you have to have the return address listed on your shopify store? And do you recommend setting up P.O. Box instead of using home address if some customer decides to return it and uses the address mentioned on the shopify store? Thank you
hey, no you don't have to list a return address if you don't require customers to ship the product back (which we don't)
@@ChrisHeckman thank you Chris! :)
Hey Chris, I've been going through your 21-hour POD video and I'm having an issue not being able to run ads with my new Facebook business account. When I go to create my first ad account it says "Your account is restricted right now. You have been temporarily blocked from performing this action." I don't know if this is typical for new accounts, and if there is anything I can do about it/how long it lasts. Thank you so much for these videos!
I have same issues either Facebook and is an account since Facebook was invented.. unfortunately I can’t run adds on Facebook but funny enough I can on instagram 😂.
So I have to ask. If you make so much money from pod. Why sell the course
You mean this course? It’s free. m.ua-cam.com/video/xigpvn8FEwE/v-deo.html
The course is free his selling nothing
What do you say to other POD youtubers saying not to sell t shirts as the margins are too low and that FB ads conversion costs are too high?
@@moynulaminamin9106 that they’ve never done it 👍🏼
@@ChrisHeckmanNice. If possible, how much would you say you make on average per t-shirt after all expenses (ad costs, COGS etc)
Our total COGS is ~40-42%, ad spend another 25-30%, overhead 4%, etc.
All in its about 15-25% net profit. (Depending on the month)
Hey Chris , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
So all these expenses including Shopify subscription how much that will cost per month? Yes its fine if you make money but for beginners its a lot?
Expenses start off much lower, I show free alternatives for everything in the 21 hour course
@ChrisHeckman great 👍 thank you. I started watching the full video, but I haven't watched it to the end.
5. Why stop at POD: Why not add integration to Aliexpress and build special product that helps to bring your brand to the next level?
Hi Chris, what does Loox offer that makes it worth $300 vs other aps?
Hey, it’s much better at collecting/displaying UGC. A cheaper alternative like judge.me works just fine as well
@@ChrisHeckman OK cool thanks. I see that the starting price is $10, that's definitely doable. I saw a video and I think the data input process for the customer is much better on Loox
Thanks for sharing your strategy and Congrats on your hard work/success. Please explain to a total noob why we would pay roughly $800 per month on Shopify/app fees until we actually confirmed our concept/idea can sell in the first place? Seems there are much cheaper platform options for beginners until success is confirmed?
good question and it's not necessary! I recommend using free/cheap alternatives like judge.me instead of loox and gmail instead of Gorgias. Try to keep overhead (including apps/software) to 3-4% of total revenue. i.e - doing $10k/month sales = $300 - $400 / month overhead
7. Profits : I think telling audience that this store was almost 0 effort on your part is not fair. 3-4k just spending on overheads is not 0 effort, it is your margins. Also i think with such marketing budget monthly from day one , you really need to know what your doing in marketing, you always measure results vs ad spend, ads are not push and go, they are not forever and also with so many changes how Meta works, you need to know more than just average Joe. To really make your profits you need to add some unique dropship product with your brand on it.
Chris, Shimmy Morris brought me here. He's pegged you at God Tier for POD strategy.
Hey, welcome. "god tier" to describe a business selling t-shirts seems like a bit much lol
How much ads spend did it take to get to the 1.15m?
That I the thing UA-cam gurus always leave out...
Fine, you caught me:
Ad Spend: $12
Jk but I’ve shared my full P&L repeatedly on this channel - TLDR: 15-25% net profit
✔
should i creat llc company?
I do
Hey Chris , I loved this video ! I can help you with more polished and quality Editing in your videos which can help you get more engagement in your videos . Please let me know what do you think ?
Christ, do you advise to go Shopify route over Etsy?
he actually recommend going the Shopify route, since you have full control, besides the problem with banning accounts right and left on Etsy, it's just not even a question of picking a smart strategy anymore, it's just reasonable to go down the Shopify route.
if you started or have any questions you can contact me, i would love for someone to talk about starting this business model.
@@SalahEddine-l9q Thanks!
Reading the comments most ya'll fail cause of a weak mindset/mentality and want everything for free
Please, for the love of our ears, remove your mic from the table or don't bang the table!
Haha noted, thanks for the feedback
You keep repeating 1.5 mil 1.5 mil 1.5 mil, look we did 1.5mil in REVENUE… how much did you spend on advertisements? What was your profit margins? How much did you actually EARN from that 1.5 mil.
I repeatedly SHARE my P&L on this channel. Check out my last VIDEO for example. (I can capitalize random words too)

You never mention if you ever used anything else besides Shopify. It's always Shopify Shopify. Hmmm 🤔
@@rjkrjk8344 that’s because I only use Shopify
@@ChrisHeckman Really you've never tried anything else to see if cuts costs or is more efficient. I find that hard to believe with someone making videos to how to make money 🤔
I've tried everything (Etsy, Amazon, etc.) Shopify is the best imo. That's why I teach it.
@@ChrisHeckman I was referring to Woocommerce, Wix, is it because of ease of use or price that you stick with Shopify. How does it compare to others when it comes to fees. For credit card processing etc. That's why I'm asking.
Some of y'all just cheap 😂😂 Chris don't bother with certain ppl
Should i try with new adidas brand that printfy newly launched?
It depends on the niche. Personally, I stick with the gildan 64000. Been selling the same thing for years
@@ChrisHeckman I guess people will trust and willing to buy when they will see the adidas logo. And my niche is fitness.
@@ChrisHeckman i guess the conversation rate will be high if i use adidas brand? Most people are not getting any sales these days. I have followed your shopify 21+ hours course on UA-cam.
