- Jon Stettin, Jim Gazzale, and Geo Sette kick off week 2 at Saratoga with their handicapping analysis, thoughts on the Curlin Stakes on Friday, Lake George Stakes and CCAO on Saturday at Saratoga.
It is the return of Kentucky Oaks winner Thorpedo Anna in the CCAO plus a few Chad Brown runners in the Lake George. The Curlin Stakes is the local prep for the Travers Stakes later this summer. Will Thorpedo Anna wind up in The Travers? We will find out soon.
They look ahead to The Curlin with Shug and Chad, and look back at last week's stakes with Chad. Jon and Chad share an interesting observation that can be capitalized on going forward.
The trio visits a key spot at The Spa with a lot of ,memories for one of our hosts.

$50 window story, that was my favorite window back in the day, must have met your Dad! Remember when I was a kid went up to that window prob 15/16 yo.. was nervous as all hell, played a $50 st exacta..the man at the window just gave me a wry smile as if to say ok kid, you got balls...lol
Also remember it was where all the mushes would hang around to see what everyone was betting...great story Jon!

Thanks for your show. Always take good notes which I take with me. July 13 went to Los Alamitos only to find no DRF for sale instead handed out a double sided five pages of tracks showing Pp Horse, jockey and odd. Crap

Actually, Kenny McPeek's 15-1 horse is sorta interesting: Django is a grandson of Sadler's Wells (Northern Dancer), and just improved in his speed figures. He had level figures of 80 from 2023 into 24, but just went up to 90 after a win.
I think Magic Cross is going to be dynamic on the turf. My bet
at 30 to 1.
Jon. They should really listen to your suggestion of a tarp after 4 and 5 horse fields off the Turf.

your group is an anti comedy act. unlike all the other shows your team does NOT fawn over each other, smile, nod and agree on literally everything, you're all even a bit testy to get to the point and stick to critical things. Much to like not sure what comedy guy meant.
