Can confirm. Have done this procedure on this exact machine. :) In the field, a large boulder or (preferably) a 6x6 can substitute for the floor jacks. :)
Great idea of short "down to the point" video! Only suggestion is to do a few close-up on bolt and track while you are working on them. Please do more like; Diesel glow plug change Timing chain/belt General how to service
Really enjoy your channel. Great content. Unrelated question. I have a 99 7.3 f-250 4x4 6 speed manual. When pulling heavy loads it wants to hop until load is moving. At speed it’s fine, but initial clutch engagement (when warm) makes truck hop and buck
Some makes and models are suck a pain because you have to get the height right. It’s easy with an overhead crane but 99% of people won’t have that. Usually the cat skid steers where the worst for this. You can use a floor jack
I'll be posting a longer format video of the track change. I'm going to start uploading both so the people like you can have my videos whichever way you prefer. Thanks for watching!
I really enjoy your videos, as a mobile forklift mechanic you always give me motivation to keep pushing myself to get better and learn new things. I also enjoy all of your 7.3 powerstroke content as I recently bought one
Hey. Mr. Cox,,,, You might want a contact through UA-cam or whatever, "Stanley dirt monkey " (Genadek) about fixing a dump truck he has, it has been turned away by 3 shops :( he needs help!
Stephen, come on brother; you're better than this and the two previous videos. I love your attitude, personality and (earlier) videos. I get it you're life is "challenging" at the moment but, we all got problems and stories; suck it up buttercup. Where's the Stephen Cox I know? If you want to change or repair skidsters Andrew Camerata's got it down. As a huge fan I'm hanging in there waiting for Stephen to come back.
IT SURE IS NICE TO SEE YOU BACK ON THE UA-camS.
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES
(GOD BLESS CHUCKY TOO)
NOW do it in a muddy ditch when you accidentally roll it off from side-pressure on the track... :P
I need tracks on my wheelchair.
Thanks a lot Stephen. After watching your videos, I lost $5k. Ended up buying one of those vmac compressors
Like the heavy equipment stuff. That’s why I subbed originally
Not enough swearwords.. 😂🤣
We’ve got out mini excavator track change down to 10 minutes. I require 2 x 4 ‘s and a helper.
Heck yeah got it done. You made that look easy
Great to see you back doing what you do best…. Thanks mate hang in there, we all still care
You made it look so easy. I've seen others use a backhoe to remove the track. A 2x4 is cheaper to run.
Had always been curious on this!
I just wish mine had tracks! Cool vid.... gonna be very helpful to a lot of folks!
I think i know where one with tracks is that you could use 😂
You two should do a video together!
Grreat editing. Fast track change in action. Love it.
Good video 🙏
Just to say amazing!
good job man good video
The place I work for has a skid steer just like this one, ima save this just in case😂
Now I know if I ever get one in how to do it.
That was an excellent short tutorial. Great job and thanks for sharing!
why aren't you helping SV seeker get his boat to the water
Hello 👋, how are you.

Can you do a video detailing your truck wrap? How you came up with the design? If you would do anything different, stuff like that

Made me feel dumb for using a spud bar to push back the idler.
You made it look so easy :) Hope everything is the best it can be
Hey man what's chucky up to? If he has a new channel what is it
I'm considering doing what you do for a living. Do you have any pro tips for someone who's interested or just starting out?
Thank you for the like. I didn't know editing took that away. I swear, technology sometimes...
He did a few videos before on this. Check back about a year.
@@johnf8877 Oh, Thank you! I'll check back...
I thought it would be much harder than that.
👍💪
Wowwwwwww😯
I've got the floppy part, but I don't have 5 or 6 inches of anything. ;-)
Good to see your back
Good to c u back on here Bud
Sorry, i won’t watch any narrow, portrait oriented video.
Just turn your phone back to and it's full screen..
makes the new track go on by magic

How's chucky
Seems like some of his latest videos indicated that he was heading off in a tangent direction.
@@danburch9989 did be talk about chucky
Nice job
