When I first saw your watch, I wasn't too sure of the horizontal lines on the face, but after your video being up close, it's not as bad as I originally had pictured. Long story short: I'd buy it...
I had £200 to spend on a watch and it was between this V2 and the Baltany Discovery 36mm. I went with the Baltany which I love but now this video has got me pining for the SM again. I need to take a cold shower to sort myself out.

Love this black version. I agree John, a near perfect gada watch. Really the only change I would like to see is the hour hand fully lumed, instead of just the tip. This one is definitely calling me!

You are right. I didn't rate the diver at all but the Ascent looks awesome. I have the Fume red/brown colour on the way and a face off with this and my Clemence Munro is pencilled in. Chinese Vs budget micro Vs mid tier micro 😺🤗

Unfortunately I can't answer that as I am not allowed to give anything resembling financial advice. Check their website and the Watchdives website and they have to tell you. In the UK things are different since leaving the EU and it is very confusing

Really like this one but wish they did it in pure white (not silver). My only negative would be logo. Not the design but more how its applied, it needs toning down imo. Either punch through it so its not a solid hex or gun metal finish it. I find its fighting for attention too much. I have a green ranger SM with it printed in gilt and looks way better imo

During the current sale I picked up two bargains this sn0113 in black for £154 sale price plus Ali code ukju15 and the ixdao engineer for £169 with code ukju20. The codes only work once or the sn0113 would have came in at £149 as the code used was for £15 off orders over £110 whereas the other code was £20 off orders over £145. Can’t wait for both to arrive …thanks for the great reviews 👏

Hi Neil. I did hear there were issues with the occasional sticky link near the watch head but I certainly haven't experienced it on mine or I would have mentioned it. For the price it is well above all expectations. Hope this helps 😊😺

Nice, but I'd rather go for the totally original & more expensive Erebus Ascent ; actually a Hamilton Jazzmaster with a discount would be good cost per wear. ( Don't say the whole word for that bracelet design with an 'O' or a 'J').
I have bought it....and will be doing a comparison but remember, the whole point of the video was to explore the value to be had at 200usd and the Ascent is way outside that price range 🤗
Beautiful watch - both the original and this homage - but is no one else bothered by the fact that they’ve put the arrowhead on the *wrong* hand? On the Omega, the arrowhead hand is the minute hand, which seems a more natural hand to emphasize, since it is the longer hand that reaches to the indices and the minute track. If you’re going to honor Omega’s design, why mess with something so innate?
It's a pretty watch, but being a fan of SM's brushing, I don't like the polished lugs with the brushed links. I think the contract is a bit jarrinh. But the upgrades are very welcome.
Luckily for my wallet, the SM web store does not have it in the EU collection and the official SM store doesn't have it either, so I can go back to my original soccer sale plan
@@johnswatchjoint Watchdives Ali store does not want to send to my adress. Same with the Diver watch store. And the Tactical Mess store will not get any more of my orders. So my wallet is still safe this time :) I guess it has something to do with distribution rights or warehouse locations for the EU. I have the same issues with some Seestern, Sugess and Seagull watches in certain Ali stores that will not ship to Sweden.
