for aqa - If a question asks you to 'show that' a value is about something for a particular part. Say the answer is actually 10.1..... N but it says 'show that it is about 10N'. for the next part of the question, if you are required to use the value - do you use the exact value or the one they asked you to show?

2:03 I take AQA and I've been told by my teachers that I should always use the rounded answer instead. Any thoughts? Maybe it's just the different exam boards and I know they sometimes allow a range of* answers but I think AQA are just different for this case.
@@emperorjimmu9941the annoying thing is I agree with you but my teachers tell me to do otherwise, I honestly believe it's heresy to use rounded answers but both my teachers tell us to do so. Do you know if it is said anywhere on AQA's website so I can show my teachers?
DynestiGTI If you do AQA, then your teachers are 100% wrong. Always use the exact (not rounded) value in all steps. The one time you should round your answer is the end. I have done past paper questions and the mark scheme doesn’t show to accept a range. The mark scheme only shows the exact answer for AQA.
thank you for the video, I have a question, with mesuring the gradient, do you have to draw a triangle or can you use y2-y1/x2-x1 with distant points on the graph?
And always the biggest triangle possible. In AQA you can lose marks for it being too small (some questions say you need to show your working on the graph, that’s when it counts)
Shekiba Hassani I usually make sure to quickly read over the values I put in my calculator before getting the answer to check there are no typos, and I rarely make calculation mistakes because of it. If you have the time also it is useful to just compare the values you have written for the calculation to the ones the question has provided because it is also easy to make written mistakes that will similarly lead to the answer being wrong

Is the pen you are using allowed in the a level exams??????
If it’s black and non erasable then technically yes, although it’s best to use ballpoint

I do edexcel and I definitely round my answers at every step
You should only round when you write in your final answer, keep your unrounded full answer for any subsequent calculations
Only ever round right at the end as this I’ll give you the answer in the mark scheme.
@@emperorjimmu9941the annoying thing is I agree with you but my teachers tell me to do otherwise, I honestly believe it's heresy to use rounded answers but both my teachers tell us to do so. Do you know if it is said anywhere on AQA's website so I can show my teachers?

Eh physics is pretty important in game art so it's close enough
Alphabetical Order yeah bruh i use suvat equations to solve modeling a hand
Can you do the 6 markers as bullet point? (AQA)
thank you for the video, I have a question, with mesuring the gradient, do you have to draw a triangle or can you use y2-y1/x2-x1 with distant points on the graph?
I reckon you should draw a triangle, record the x1 and x2 points etc and use these in your calculation.
And always the biggest triangle possible. In AQA you can lose marks for it being too small (some questions say you need to show your working on the graph, that’s when it counts)
In IAL bullet points are banned and cuts marks, have seen it happen to other's papers
Very helpful

Today's my AS Physics paper 2 :'^)
ASs don't do anything anymore do they? Isn't it all linear now?
Is 250 2 significant figures?
Yea
No, it's 3
0.0054 is 2 significant figures
it can be either 2 or 3. 250.0 is 4 significantly fig. if zero is the last digit it can sometimes hold significant
Themannyplayz don’t ever say anything again
Well I know most of these and have applied it from long ago :^D
But you'd be surprised how many people don't
Could you get full marks for a 6 marker/3/4 marker if you use bullet points?? I thought it was not accepted
Yes you can!

Xander Howard I'm thinking this too, I've been told that using bullet points limits your marks on four or six mark questions
