- I've been selected to be part of an advisory group for the new and improved Cutie Breeze tabletop quilting frame.
With this frame you can use your own sewing machine to free motion quilt like a longarmer would!

Finally someone is putting the frame together instead of just working with it. thank you so much. send with love fromLuxemburg, EU
Mine is on its way. Thank you for the video on how to assemble. Had me laughing with the drop count 😂
Thank you for your video. You made it real, loved the drop counting. I watched a couple different assemble videos, yours was the easiest to follow. The instructions in the book are pretty good, but it is faster and easier to watch you. 🙏🥰
Thank you for making this video. It was great! I was able to assemble my frame right along with you.
Thank you so much for the clear explanation and visual explanation of how it goes together. These two machines are on my bucket list. Looking forward to the next video.
Thank you for this tutorial. I'll replay this to view while assembling my frame. Can't wait to get started with learning how to quilt.
Just received my Cutie Breeze frame and thanks to your video I can't wait to get started!! Love the drop count! I'm going to try the same thing. Your video was very easy to follow, thanks again! 😊❤
Just used your tip for burying short threads. It worked like magic. Thank you soooooooo much
Waiting for delivery. This video gives me a lot less to stress over. I love that you included the drop count. Anyone who has ever assembled furniture knows your pain!
One thing you can do with Styrofoam is break the pieces up if they are large and use them as crocks in the bottom of larger plant pots to provide drainage & cut down on weight..
Thanks for showing how that frame goes together I've been thinking of getting one but wasn't sure how difficult it would be. ❤
Waiting on mine. So excited! Thanks for the through assembly video.
I feel you with the drop count. Dropping the Allen Wrench is the most annoying part of assembling anything. Thanks for the tutorial. I really want to get one of these frames. I can’t afford sending quilts away for finishing.
I’ve always thought about getting one of these. Thank you for giving me a inside look . I didn’t realize how large the space needed was! Good to see I need a bigger table! Can’t wait for the test quilt video!! Thanks for making this video!
Great video! Thank you for mentioning using a laser stylus, exactly what I was wanting to hear. Can't wait for video 2. This and the new Rebel are on my wish list!
Oh how nice!! 🎉🎉This is on my wishlist ❤
I’m so glad to see you loading a Juki. That’s the same machine I have, so it’s nice to see how it fits. I’m looking forward to seeing your test quilt.
Made it look easy. Thanks
Thank you so much for recording how to put it together! 😊
Thanks. Helps a lot. Love your sewing space.
I loved this video! You are so fun! Helped me to decide to go with the Breeze!
I take my hat off to you! wel done for doing it in front of us!...
Thank you so much for your tutorial. You are amazing!
Thanks so much!! This was very helpful! I needed the drop counter also!
I was having a serious case of the butter fingers 😂
I just ordered one of these. Thank you for sharing!!! ❤
I just got a grace q zone quuen and have myTL 2010q juki on it. Having alot of skipped stitches and thread issues so looking forward to next video. I got the grace speed control that helps a ton. Its going to into the shop for a service Im pretty sure timing is jacked up
Off topic, but what kind of table are you using that perfectly fits your mat?
I have the same mat, but searching for a table that fits.
You did a great job showing how to put together the frame. Thank you
Thanks! It’s actually a sit/stand desk I picked up used when my day job office was downsizing. I did have to trim just a little off the sides of the mat to make it fit perfectly.
Such a useful video, thank you so much. Do you know if this one has any stitch regulator capacity or does it rely completely on your domestic sewing machine capabilities, so if your machine can't have a stitch regulator then it's not possible? I once tried a long arm with stitch regulator and it was the easiest thing ever, just like drawing with a pencil rather than spending ages trying to perfect that even stitch
The frame itself doesn’t have any stitch regulation, but I did add it later in this video: ua-cam.com/video/3EwEvsmNa8A/v-deo.htmlsi=cvIaCWWtStrQU86O
@@rosecityoriginals yes, I saw that later, thank you, I’m now trying to see if my brother innovis nv 1100 is compatible with any stitch regulator coz I think the one you are using mentions some brother models but not mine, thank you for your prompt reply
I noticed you have a longarm. Which would you recommend for beginner quilters and easier to work to get the job done?
One of the biggest commitments to having a longarm (aside from the $) is space, so if you have limited space or are not sure if you’ll like it, then the Cutie frame is a wonderful option
@@rosecityoriginalsI’m a beginner quilter; and limited space right now. I need a device that takes up less space and can be put away if needed. I’m hoping the cutie breeze can provide me everything a longarm can. Thanks.
Does the cutie breeze run on it’s on or do you have to stand and quilt your quilt?
You can add automation to the cutie frame, it I don’t have it. I do have it on my larger Quilters Evolution Elite frame
@@rosecityoriginalswhat is the name of the device? Is it universal or for specific domestic machines? It would be nice to program and leave it. I don’t have the space for longarm.
You gave us the width of the frame (51.24"), could you also provide the depth. I'm finding it hard to find tables or desks wider than just under 24" and am wondering what I actually need - my Cutie Breeze is on it's way!
The frame is about 27” deep.
Obviously, you are a natural teacher. But could you please share comparisons of this cutie frame to quilting (wrestling yards of fabric) without it on a domestic tabletop machine? Also, a comparison to an actual long arm that you don’t have to move the quilt around on? Thank you.
Would a Brother Runway sewing machine work in that?
It might, but you quilting are will be limited by the throat space on the machine.
I feel like you should start by demonstrating the final product, and then explain step by step how you got there. Might help me understand this better.😊😊
Looking forward to your next video. I have a Bernina Q16. Do you think it could work for a big machine like this?
It should, they say it can fit machines up to a 19” throat
Can you please make one with the qunique 16 elite
Here is the video when I setup my 16x Elite: Assembling my new Grace Co. Q'Nique 16x Elite on an 8' Continuum Longarm frame

At the start the instructions it says the front track should have the bumper on the right and the back track should have the bumper on the left. (Step 2 of Task 1).
I was part of the Beta test group, so the instructions were updated after I put mine together. Luckily it’s super easy to flip the bars around 🥰
Rose,this is useflu done~ 😈
How to change bobbin while sewing
That’s going to depend on your machine. I have a side-load bobbin so I can just reach under and change it.
If you have a top-load bobbin you may need to in-hoop a corner of the quilt so you can access the bobbin area.
My goal is to get one of these in mid 2025.
I know this was a year ago. But while we don’t have any of the styrofoam services you mentioned here, there are some eBay sellers here that I have found on marketplace who are always willing to reuse the styrofoam instead of buying new in their packages they sell. I keep a little bit for myself but if I have all I need, I give it to these sellers. There are alternatives to the styrofoam, I sure wish they would consider that. But a shipper told me that all of the alternatives are noticeably higher in price, and increase the size of your packages so that shipping costs are higher. They do not necessarily increase weight, but box sizes and shapes that have to be handled differently by shippers so they charge more.
Thank you, I never would have thought to offer it up like that. I’ll keep that in mind when I get more styrofoam
Haha drop count! Real life lol
My 16 year old built mine with less fuss 😂
I am positive this gentleman is great at what he does, however, he does not represent the majority of individuals tasked with assembling this product.
