Hi Sohan, Thanks very much for all of your very informative videos. After watching this one a few times I'm able to make very nice cuffs. I began practicing with copper and have graduated to sterling and reticulated shibuichi. As an ex-instructor, I appreciate your logical, understandable concise methods of teaching. thanks Soham, I will be sure to allow the flux to clear before bringing in the pick. I will also try switching from hard to medium. I guess practice makes perfect ! sooo many jump rings. haha
Soham, you mention the use of a tumbler in several of your videos. I was planning on using stainless mix shot with a shot of detergent and let er rip. how long would suggested I let it tumble?
soham.. I am pick soldering the box chain project. fiddly is an understatement !! anyway.. worked about an hour, my pick crapped out ! arcing, solder would not flow off, blobbed up ..melted several rings. not sure what happened ! too much heat, not enough heat. ughhh. help..
+Vera Perkovic i made the pattern on the first hammer by grinding lines in with a separating disc in my pendant drill. the plastic hammer is from rio grande on line
