Hey Jan - we have a recurring problem with the Studios and MTR where the far end video is showing black for participants, but is showing for those in the room. It is fixed with a reboot, but firmware and software updates don't seem to fix the problem for long. I'm in a PolyMicrosoft support loop but I can see others are having the problem in Microsoft support forums. Any suggestions?

Hi Bill, thanks for your comments. I have heard this also earlier didn't impact everybody but should be solved now there were temporary issues apparently not globally in datacenters. Several customers did a reboot and didnt happen anymore. Did you try that? Otherwise please share your behavior with Poly and Microsoft support to make sure it get investigated. Keep me posted.. thanks. ☕🛠

Hi, just wondering can you use a thunderbolt cable on either the x series or g7500 to display (so only one cable coming from the device to the laptop, instead of usb c and hdmi)?

Hi Archie 👋 thanks for your comments. The StudioX keeps HDMI ingest and USB for audio video and mic seperate so requires 2 cables. We have seen issues with the combination in the past also could require specific video drivers and extenders (USC-C max 1.80m) etc having these separate is plug and play just works even with a USB 2.0 cable of 5 meter.. now you can use your own usb-c hub ofcourse if you want to but this is something you might want to investigate with your company pc hardware to match all these products.. hope that helps.. Jan ☕🛠

Hi, are any drivers or software required for Windows 11 / MacOS?
