    Great way to handle the situation bud. I need to do the same. I lash out at bad comments also. And when we do that , it makes us no different than the ones lashing at us. Great video buddy

      Thanks and yes when you let a troll get to you then they win. But we are human also and lashing back is a natural reaction.

    Man it's so easy to focus on the one jackwagon in the comments, and every YT'er does it. I try to remember that 98% of the comments are good, and those are the ones I need to focus on. People that say stuff like that guy did to you are just trolls, and you can't reason with someone like that. If they had enough sense to comprehend the reasoning of your retort...they wouldn't have made the comment the way they did in the first place. You're a good man, and you did the right thing. Don't let them get to you buddy.

      Thanks Adam , I appreciate you and your work on your channel. I guess the main reason that I let some negative comments get to me is that most people don't understand that the flying is the least of the work we you tube rc plane reviewers do. They don't see the countless hours of work we put in to maintain a regularly updated UA-cam channel. Yes we do make a little bit of money from UA-cam and planes from some sponsors but we almost never break even on the money and almost always end up investing way more of our own money than we get back in return. So why do it? Simple We love it it , We love the hobby, and If that next flight, that next learned tip , than next demonstrations helps at least one pilot ....... THEN ALL THE WORK AND MONEY SPENT IS WORTH IT!!!!!

    I’ve been enjoying your vids since the cow pasture days and the cub & pA1800 . I’d love to see UA-cam tuff guys land in that wind at your field! 😂 . Folks fail to even walk a mile in someone else’s shoes before passing any judgement on ability or character . There’s a reason nobody is at your field on most vids because they fly in perfect conditions. You fly in every condition. Takes skill and stones to do that. Thanks for being part of this great hobby!

      More to come! I try to put out at least 6 videos a week but often more than that. It is very rare that a flight I do does not make to the channel.

      @FatGuyFliesRC excactly.. I have been flying for over 35 years now and I ignore the wind to but it takes a different kind of skill set to fly in windy conditions so I must say you did a great job flying that Beautiful bird in that wind ❤️

    I’m so glad you threw in your 2 cents on the Socokin batteries. I have two and have yet to use them other than taxi around a little. They seem really nice. Doesn’t seem to be a lot of talk about them.

      They are a very good battery. I have a bout 8 and zero issues with them. About 4 of them are going on 3 year old now. no puff and no loss of power.But I discharge to storage when I don't use them.

    Don't feed the trolls. You're a real everyman flyer and that's why I'm here. I am here to see planes, how they fly, look and if it would be a fit for my skill and fill my garage.

    • @FatGuyFliesRC
      @FatGuyFliesRC  3 місяці тому

      Thanks so much, my channel's purpose is to share and hopefully grow the hobby for everyone. If I help at least one pilot by either helping him or her make a better purchase choice or answer a question they have been wrestling with then that is why I am here.

    I like the F22 70 , have 5 flights , I don’t usually fly it in much wind , seems you always of a good amount of wind ….your brave for flying at all in the conditions with various planes

    • @FatGuyFliesRC
      @FatGuyFliesRC  3 місяці тому

      Thanks 👍 I have decided flight time is to valuable to be put off by the wind (within reason of course) Since I have decided to just embrace it my skills have noticeably improved.

    Great flights/landings in all that wind. I wouldn't try it. Fan sounds great too. Mine sounded too raspy so I replaced it with an Xfly from Amazon.

    30% expo is it negative expo or positive expo? What's the best battery for speed and time?

    • @FatGuyFliesRC
      @FatGuyFliesRC  3 місяці тому

      Positive expo only. I believe negative expo is only for 3d flying. best battery for time is a 5k and best for speed and performance is 4k.
