This track is very nice re-enactment of Emmett Miller's 1928 recording, as such we get insights into history of the song and Leon's style
"Did they lock up your bootlegger?" Still giggling over that one.
Only Leon Redbone can do a cover of Hanks song and totally make it his own bluesy sound. Loved it!
I love this version. This song has quite a history even before Hank. This version closely follows the Emmett Miller version, even including the intro banter
I am a young Brazilian, but i found this guy music and i loved it.
His music and singing takes me to another time! It's awesome.
Love it, love it, love it! An album I don’t have but will soon!!!
Love his awesome blue's music 🎶🎶🎶
He was the best player for blues
Love blue's music !!!
Now this is what I'm talkin bout.
Rediscovering his music with a $1 CD from a used books shop. Great performer. Unique.
Love me some Leon!
What a guy. Mannen som aldrig rör en min.
I have decided to grow a mustache to look more like Mr. Redbone. No other reason.
Great Version
