Finally, someone that gets it on the basis of studying and real life. How it affects your lifestyle to constantly try to keep up with Technology and the studying of all the different Certs. This man gets it. I've been in this industry for over 20 years and now I understand what it will take to pass. And he answers the questions and does not beat around the bush like other. This Man is Real, Honest and tells it so that everyone can understand. Thank you
I’ve been watching your videos. Passed 1102 Core 2 a few weeks ago and went for 1101 Core 1 today and passed. Thank you for your videos.
Were you more comfortable with taking Core 2 versus doing Core 1 first?
Congradulations !!!
Hello sir, without really studying, I got 8 of out 10 correct. I took several computer courses in 2017. My knowledge surprised me. Thanks gonna be on the lookout for more of these type videos!!!! For practical tests. Thanks again...
This is extremely helpful I would love more content like this. Thank you for all your hard work.
Super informative! These practice videos have helped me shift my objective priorities. This style of question also assists in deep understanding versus surface level memorization.
The length of the video just fits, you won't get bored. The instructor is competent and had done a great job in hie delivery of the lecture. 🙏🧚🦄🍍🌄🎃
If it’s a question about troubleshooting with a frustrated client, I’m golden. I score about 80% on troubleshooting and I haven’t finished the Udemy course yet.
However, when they ask what is the fastest throughput of the 4 cables listed, I’m dead on arrival.
I built my computer so troubleshooting is a reflex now…but telling you each of the components and their specifics is going to need a lot of memorizing for me.
Very informative video. Your explanations were clear and most poignant to the subject being tested.
Pro tip with some UPS, many of them will begin to emit a very loud beeping sound when either the battery is about to die due to being in use or it's nearing the end of its lifespan, requiring a battery replacement, while the rest of the UPS unit is often totally fine. I have had to do this 2-3 times in a local law firm over the span of 6ish years.
I actually understood everything the way you were explaining it. THANK YOU KEEP THE VIDEOS COMING! 😊
I really liked this because some of those question are presented on the CompTIA A+ questions I am doing now. So thank you very much for not only showing us but explaining why the other answers don't fit in simple plain language of everyday use,
Very helpful. Please upload additional videos as well.
I enjoyed this vid, thank you. I'm pretty much starting from scratch trying to get into this field. It's good to get a small sampling of questions:)
Ugh first question already. I'm also going through jason dion's a+ 1101 course and finished a video a couple hours ago about beeps where he said directly to not memorize what the beeps codes mean as different manufacturers have different symptoms for various types of beeps and you will have to refer to the manual of the motherboard in question. All I should know is that the beeps mean that there is an issue. Now I'm told I have to know what the beeps mean here. So many conflicting information out there about a+. However the answer makes a lot of sense when you said it and I could have figured it out based on the information given.
Well it's not a bad idea to KNOW just a few basic ones that are common. A single Beep means GOOD, everything is fine! The 3 beeps seems to be common when it comes to RAM issue. You don't need to memorize a whole list. You probably won't even get a beep code question. And if you do. It'll be a super basic stupid one like RAM issue or 1 beep means good, Or maybe even a video card issue. But don't waste time memorizing different ones. Focus on the Printers & troubleshooting, Networking & Troubleshooting, Memorize the 20 Port #'s (Core 1), USB Speeds, Know which Wifi types support which frequencies (A B G N AC AX). You're better off focusing mainly on the highest %'s listed on the Exam Objectives. If studying out of order study from highest % to lowest. Those Printer differences are a pain. You can only memorize so much. This exam isn't about getting 100% its about knowing enough to Pass. No one cares about the score you get. It's Pass or Don't Pass.
Thank for you your in-depth teaching took the core 1 exam today and I passed. I just purchase your core 2 tutorial on udemy as i plan to write the core2 exam in one month time
Practice 5: Load Balancer* not Loan Balancer
Lol, thanks for this correction.
I was confused about this one too :D haha
I was so confused as well.
@@TechnicalInstituteofAmerica lol if you can balance my loan to 1/2 I would greatly appreciate that!
Please do more. You flow very well EXCELLENT teaching
Will do. Thanks
Q10 - B is also valid and just as common. If the toner in use or rebuilt or a lower quality that image can produce roller patterns, too.
Not a huge deal but The CMOS battery( nowadays) doesn’t store bios stuff anymore. It only stores date and time. If you want to reset your bios you need a jumper. I don’t mean to sound like a know it all.
This is one of those certs where you have to study for it to pass it. It ask question only you would know if you studied.
8/10 after watching all of professors messer's videos on it. Missed them because I chose the wrong one in the process and thought the cloud would have been the metered answer
Those were way too easy, is that the difficulty of the actual exam?
this is great practice exam style i love your method. want more
You explained each option perfectly. Thank you.
Great questions and explanations!
Super good examples and explanations! Thanks a lot
Thank you.
Can you do more practise exam ?
great teacher here
Fast and clear information. Thank you.
Hi, can you please continue with videos like this they're helpful; thank you.
Will do thanks
Thank you so much for the content. Extremely helpful.
Loved the way you explained the questions. Thank you
Yess, this was very helpful!! Please do more
This was very helpful; thanks !
Very valuable information please do more gonna get certified soon...
Hey Andrew, do you have or plan to do a course on Linux + in the future? I'm asking cause your lab demonstrations are great.
Maybe in the future.
In the question 10 what about you go to the paper setting adjustment, that will clear up a ghosting issue right away, before you change the roller, toner and drums. Thats why i my answer were C
Legend! Thank you so much 😊
Thanks
Just subscribed thank you for this video love your teaching style.
Thanks for uploading hoping to see more ❤🎉
excellent video! I love the quick pace and lean information✌🏽
I scored 8/10 😅, i gotta really work harder before the exam!!
Nice quick and easy content
Thanks!
7 out of 10 correct. Got some studying to do.
woo! got all questions right except one about comptias troubleshooting process cause thats their arbitrary method... will need to look at that for exam :/
a few of the questions are poorly worded like #10 duplicate images could be a printer setting to print multiple copies, it didn't say "ghost image" could've easily been pebcak error
This video is extremely helpful! Thank you
I love this ❤
I got the first question correct ❤
Question 10 why bother replacing the toner drums and rollers when you can just install a new toner?
7:35 should be load instead of loan
Very helpful more please
I need more content like this!!
At work, the darn Brother printers have an issue where if you use the Canon printer to make copies of the letterhead and THEN using those copies for fax paper, printing on those pages always results in ghosting the letterhead, regardless of adjusting the printer's paper type. This issue does not occur with the original, thicker, letterhead paper or in our other printer brands. I had replaced the drums in 6 different brother printer models and continued to experience the same issue. I want to say that it's the result of the black ink being used by the Canon Image Runner printer when making the photocopies for fax purposes, but this issue cannot be reproduced on our other brand name printers at workstations in the office. My current theory is that ghosting can sometimes be an issue with the printer brand itself under very specific conditions, because adjusting the printer for thinner paper did nothing to solve the issue. All of the printers involved are laser printers and the only solution was to use a different printer brand that has never ghosted the letterhead of fax paper even once. Printer issues can drive office staff totally nuts and it's no surprise that a large segment of the exam would be on printers as a result.
My advice to everyone is to not study the material too fast. Make sure you absorb what you’re learning.
I think this is actually pretty good thanks
YOU ARE AWESOME PLEASE DO MORE
correct me if i am wrong for question no. 2 shouldn't the answer should be B not C. Identifying problem is 1st step which was done by technician so next step should be establishing a plan and testing theory is 3rd.
My result 10 from 10 I am ready for a+ exam, in 2 weeks
good questions and I agree printers are important for exam, I had the first lab question based on printers -_-
from my notes I thought continues beep means problem with memory and 3 long beeps means keyboard press
Thanks I enjoyed your session.
q5 loan balancer lol I could do with one of those I"m loving this practice test :) thank you sir :)
Love it.
This is up to date info and super useful. Would love to see more like this.
The beeps I missed as I did not see it listed on the objectives. Other than that 9/10.
Got 7 out of 10 gotta study more, les go!!!!
Absolutely do more!!
Hopefully, you see my question. Id like to learn from you sir. What courses do you have available for someone who wants to learn basic and go all the way up to cybersecurity snd cloud computing. Are there any books that you also recommend to speed up my learning please?
Are these similar to the core 1 exam guys?
Just sub'd thanks for this informative video!
Great video! Thank you.
Thanks
…did you mean load balancer?
Awesome video
You are the best!!! Thank you
thought beeps arent standardized across all computers? isnt that a bad question?
(i have the comptia practice and it has a whole section for that)
You are correct. You don't need to worry about memorizing any beep codes. But for this question you don't actually need to memorize anything. The takeaway here is if you hear any sort of beep, it's most likely a hardware (CPU/RAM/Motherboard/GPU issue) issue.
Answers A, B, and D are very unlikely sources
However, the way the video frames it is awful because it's portraying the question like it's universal
10 of 10 ✅
Ghost an fade image is it the same ? Thank you
Just brilliant
Will this help me pass the CompTIA A+ Core 1(220-1101) certification: I use Udemy for the course. I will use Pearson Vue to take the r test. Will this help me prepare for that test
Will you make a course for network + at udemy?
8 out of 10
Thank you!
12:45 isn't this "rapid" elasticity?
It is same
Do you have a network + course for the Comp Tia?
not tryna be technical but @7:42 you wrote loan not load lol***. good stuff tho
question 5 answer was loan balancer seems to be a typo should be load not loan.
I got 1/10 right 😂😂😂 but just started studying for it yesterday
Got 8 out of 10
Hello how can I get in contact with u
pliz do more
I got two wrong, I guessed B,
Damn, I was outdated, I got only 6 / 10 good xD
the mimo question got me xD i got that one wrong.
Seriously? "Loan Balancer"? and NOT a "Load Balancer"? Is there such thing as "Loan Balancer" in computer language?
Lol, my fault on that. Should be load not loan.
LOAD balancer lol just in case theres someone in the comments wondering....it was a typo
