I know this was posted 2 months ago, but I totally feel you. I have that ap and I've been messing with it recently. One thing I've noticed is that the one I have doesn't ask for use of the microphone so it isn't only sending random words based on the volume of the environment. Also, I found that i get the most responses when I feel something is around. For example I was recently at a very old house and felt that the landing on the stairs had some weird vibes. Although it didn't go off the whole time I had the app open, it did when I was on the stairs. I've had some intelligent responses, and then some that made 0 sense. I'm still pretty 50-50 but for someone too poor to pay for real equipment its still a fun-although unreliable-tool.

well, yes and no in my own opinion. most of the "paranormal" shows and videos out there are just people making shit up for views, but there IS paranormal activity out there. i've seen it myself. once. years ago. nothing hollywood-esk like with all the drama and scary demonic stuff. it was just a simple thing. a small kid in my house, about 5 years old. i saw him run down the hall and into the back bedroom. thought it was just a neighborhood kid that sneek'd into the house or something, maybe we left a door unlocked or something. i had just gotten home from work. i ran down the hall to the room he ran into, and....nothing. nothing. searched every space in that room. then went and sat on the porch until my roommates got home. i was creep'd out. i never said anything to them, or anyone. about a year later, i find out from a neighbor that a small boy that lived in our house about 10 years prior, had been run over by his own father on accident in the driveway. and that renters of the house have reported seeing a small boy on occasion. i saw him, and never said anything to anyone. it was my own special experience, and i've told people about it since then, but not at the time. the hollywood stuff? hogwash. we are after all, made up of energy right? synapsis and neurotransmissions. energy. when we die, where does that energy go?.....who knows.

If you listen to the radio, the same stations are scanned over and over again, and you can hear the same voices on the radio. There is no ghost taking, just the radio voices.

Noiseboxes (ghost box) are honestly the stupidest instrument ghost hunters use. It just garbles out split second clips from the radio. The idea is that the entity will "use" it to communicate, put the clips in a coherent order. But frankly, I never hear anything comprehensible, unlike the hunters. Somehow they manage to make sense of garbled static and get a sentence out of it. Hearing what they want to hear, huh?

actually the spirit box if created correctly is supposed to scan 320 FM frequencies from 76MHz to 108MHz and it sweeps so fast you are not supposed to hear any radio voices. Of course the latest newest thing is a laser W/N generator that uses a pc to detect movement and the waves used to communicate on so we can develop tools specifically using those frequency's.

I'm glad to see The Sallie House is still being investigated. It was a favorite spot on my annual private tour through Atchison...now I live in Philadelphia.
He lost his grip on who is living and who is not. Who also threw Jesus' name out and they cursed him out. That was grounds for him to fully pull the " In the name of Jesus Christ I cast you out" on that entity. Honestly that is what I would have done. It clearly states it in the bible that Jesus told us all that he gave us authorities over the spirits. When we use his name they MUST obey and flea. And when they don't, you pray about it for a min than you attack it head on again with full faith in God. The key to it all is what God says and he said ( Fear NOT what can kill the flesh alone but what can destroy both flesh and spirit) God and only God the father can destroy our flesh and our soul. I came here cause Shane and Ryan (Buzzfeed) kept talking about how they went to the Sallie House and i can't seem to find a video anywhere.
But listen, you guys. I grew up 45 minutes from this house. My dad grew up in the same town as this house. My dad took me here for like a fun halloween ghost tour thing. I had been a skeptic for years and this is the house where i actually had my first experience. This is the place that made me believe! Just watching this has me shaking
Instead of using ghost box, try a number of baby monitors in any room where there is ghost. Baby monitors are better than ghost box sometimes.

I hate these spirit boxes. literally the only spirit box that actually seems credible is the one they use Ghost Adventures, because it's actual static. this one is going through the frequencies way too slow. in the one GAC uses, it can be just white noise and static for a straight several minutes, then out of nowhere you'll hear a voice come through when a question is actually asked

I have been to a few allegedly "haunted" places and nothing at all happens other than folks imaginations getting the better of them.
