If I were the lady with the "haunted" closet, I would be checking for holes, hidden cameras, and storage spaces, because creepy landlords and neighbors watching you sleep is not only quite common, but way more terrifying and dangerous than a poltergeist.
I would simply leave the closet doors _OPEN_ all the time! Seems like an easy fix to me! But there are a few excellent paranormal debunkers on UA-cam who are especially good at showing how easy it is to fake “happenings” in homes and the creepy deserted places intrepid “investigators” go in the dead of night (1 person is never alone, btw) and find shadow people; moving furniture, opening doors, flying knives, etc., and even infrared cameras and surveillance cameras. I’m here to find footage which is difficult to fake. _THE CLOSET_ stuff is totally fake.

👍True story here. Make of it what you will. 1983, nighttime fishing trip w/ my brother in law, his brother & myself. We were driving in a old 4X4 Chevy K5 Blazer. Not drinking! No drugs. Driving down old dirt backroad southern KY. Super dark area. The Chevy had many off-road lights. It was midnight or around 1:00am. When we arrived at the lake something felt off then we heard a loud few knocks on top of truck. (We never got out of truck) Things got very quiet, scary too as all 3 of us were listening. Another knock then a rocking push. We didn’t know what was happening but we were leaving! No 1 else was in the area. Truthfully, we then saw a white cloud of sorts come over the truck, seen through windshield & out the passenger side. Thick white form. It followed us for maybe 1 mile then just vanished. I was 15 my brother in law 26 & his bro was older Army vet. All 3 or us weren’t the timid type. Especially them! We never experienced anything before this or after. We always went night fishing or frog gigging. That night was real and never explained. I brought the subject up a few weeks ago while visiting my brother in law (2022) We pondered on it a bit and still to this day we’ve never been back to that area. Somethings in this world are unexplainable. I know what we saw above & outside the truck was not our imagination. Following us or chasing us away. It wasn’t moisture or a cloud. Just creepy, huh?! Scared the heck outta 3 big ol KY guys!

Little tip for Mama Dabb: Next time someone tells you to prove there's no wire, tape a piece of cardboard near the doorframe at the top of the stairs, so there's less room for wires (could also limit the possibility of this occurring due to weird drafts). Then throw a ball or some other light thing down the stairs at the same time you call for the balloon. That makes it impossible for the balloon footage to be reversed.

I remember looking for my sister in our house, since it was time for dinner, I saw a shadow figure, thinking that it was my sister, i ran towards it. I remember living in a small town in Colorado (now it's a part of another town). When the houses were already built my friends and I would explore them while they were trying to get sold. Walked into this very nice house, beautiful everything. I was the first one to walk into the house and saw two perfect hands just there. I can't explain it, It was like a mist and just two hands just floating in mid air. Walked through them and came back a hour later and they were still just there. All we we were doing were acting like aliens or ghosts had invaded and we had to exterminate then (we were playing ghost busters). After I said they were still there we kept going and doing our own thing ignoring it. Came back to leave the front door, I look over (where the hands were) and said they are no longer there. The whole time walking in and around the house I felt like I was being watched. No one felt anything but me, even to this day I know exactly what house it was. Lochbuie Colorado (still its own town but now apart of Brighton Colorado district). If you lived there before it became what it is now, you would know it was basically a ghost town.
I always remember my grandmother. She was a gentle, down to earth countryside raised woman from Oxfordshire, whom believed in nothing out of the ordinary. She lived in her old house in Bermondsey, where she moved to during the war for many years, then one day out of the blue she began sleeping in the living room on a put up bed and did this for about 2-3 years. Eventually we drew the reason why out of her, though she was a little reluctant to say why. Apparently one night, whilst lying in bed reading, she saw a woman appear on the far side of the room, carrying an old oil lamp. She made her way towards a shelf, which had just as mysteriously materialised and start arranging dolls,before leaving the room via the closed door. Although this shook her up she still continued to sleep in the room until a month later when the same figure appeared and once again began to tidy the collection of dolls on the shelf, before leaving through the closed door. I remember looking in to the history of the house to see if there was anything untowards, that had happened there, but came up with nothing, then a few years later she got tired of sleeping on a makeshift bed and returned to the room, never seeing the figure again. I always considered it to be some kind of echo or after image over an actual spirit, but I can remember always wanting to catch a glimpse of it whenever we visited. Unfortunately I never did and she has since passed on leaving them mystery to somebody else.
I spoke with my mother about it and she told me that my grandmother had a large wooden wardrobe in the room against the wall. Whenever the figure appeared that entire wall would be replaced by this shelf containing the dolls. Almost as is that entire area of the room was showing a different time. That made the entire thought process of the figure being an apparition or spirit difficult to confirm.

I remember looking for my sister in our house, since it was time for dinner, I saw a shadow figure, thinking that it was my sister, i ran towards it. But it was faster, and as it ran into the master bedroom, it disappeared. This all happened in the crossings, an apartment
I remember living in a small town in Colorado (now it's a part of another town). When the houses were already built my friends and I would explore them while they were trying to get sold. Walked into this very nice house, beautiful everything. I was the first one to walk into the house and saw two perfect hands just there. I can't explain it, It was like a mist and just two hands just floating in mid air. Walked through them and came back a hour later and they were still just there. All we we were doing were acting like aliens or ghosts had invaded and we had to exterminate then (we were playing ghost busters). After I said they were still there we kept going and doing our own thing ignoring it. Came back to leave the front door, I look over (where the hands were) and said they are no longer there. The whole time walking in and around the house I felt like I was being watched. No one felt anything but me, even to this day I know exactly what house it was.
Lochbuie Colorado (still its own town but now apart of Brighton Colorado district). If you lived there before it became what it is now, you would know it was basically a ghost town.

I always remember my grandmother. She was a gentle, down to earth countryside raised woman from Oxfordshire, whom believed in nothing out of the ordinary. She lived in her old house in Bermondsey, where she moved to during the war for many years, then one day out of the blue she began sleeping in the living room on a put up bed and did this for about 2-3 years.
Eventually we drew the reason why out of her, though she was a little reluctant to say why. Apparently one night, whilst lying in bed reading, she saw a woman appear on the far side of the room, carrying an old oil lamp. She made her way towards a shelf, which had just as mysteriously materialised and start arranging dolls,before leaving the room via the closed door. Although this shook her up she still continued to sleep in the room until a month later when the same figure appeared and once again began to tidy the collection of dolls on the shelf, before leaving through the closed door. I remember looking in to the history of the house to see if there was anything untowards, that had happened there, but came up with nothing, then a few years later she got tired of sleeping on a makeshift bed and returned to the room, never seeing the figure again. I always considered it to be some kind of echo or after image over an actual spirit, but I can remember always wanting to catch a glimpse of it whenever we visited. Unfortunately I never did and she has since passed on leaving them mystery to somebody else.

I spoke with my mother about it and she told me that my grandmother had a large wooden wardrobe in the room against the wall. Whenever the figure appeared that entire wall would be replaced by this shelf containing the dolls. Almost as is that entire area of the room was showing a different time. That made the entire thought process of the figure being an apparition or spirit difficult to confirm.
Honestly if you're a "self proclaimed" ghost hunter and when you call ghost, they show up and you run away.... You need a new hobby...
