Thank you. This video really helped! I was afraid the snow would be thrown farther away, since I live in a zero lot line property in Calgary, and it would end up at the neighbours. Great video by the way!
I saw 8n one of the comments you purchased a 100 ft cord 12 guage, not sure how long the drive way is but in the vid I saw you used two extension cords and left the connection point in the snow, cringe. Just be careful, thanks for the video
There's really nothing to service because they're electric. Just the paddles need replaced when they wear out but anyone can replace them with simple tools.
Actually, it is much lighter than the big bulky gas snowblowers. If you've shovelled there's a good chance you can use this. The key is to remove the snow when it is light. If you wait until it is a foot or more deep it is a lot harder to handle. Especially the wetter heavy snow.
That's hard to say as everyone has different levels of strength and balance. I can say that it is significantly easier to move than a big gas powered snow blower that doesn't have a drive train. I would say that it is comparable to pushing a heavier shovel. The main difference is you don't have to lift. You just push and the snow blows where you direct it.

Chris, generally speaking, a proper 14 gauge extension cord is good up to 50 feet for this 15 amp SnowJoe. Beyond 50 feet you should use a 12 gauge extension cord up to a max. of 100 feet and of course it is good to use a cord made for the proper weather conditions. Below is the extension cord they sell on the SnowJoe website. Always consult the manufacturer of the product for their recommendations and requirements. I hope this is of help to you. The Snow Joe PJEXT50-B 50-Foot (SJTW) extension cord is designed to withstand the toughest elements. @rta04 At the end of 2020, I purchased a Snow Joe SJ627E which is a 22in version of this and it is astounding. l also have a Toro 18in electric and now after 6 years,it's stopping and not starting at times. The Toro is the highest rated.
From pg 7 of the manual ……”Push the loop of extension cord through the slot from the opposite side of the restraint hook. Position the loop over the hook and pull the cable back through the slot (Fig12)” You did NOT do this in your video

Thank you for sharing
Thank you for your kind comments!
Always was afraid to invest in one, "corded or battery" because I don't know any place close that will service them.

I thought the little sweet lady was going to do it! I want to know if lady arms can easily maneuver it.

Does the extension cord come with the snow blower?
No it doesn’t come with the extension cord.
Is it hard to push for a older person?

Shouldn't have added music.
are you using a 16gauge cord?
No, we are using14 guage. We also bought a 12 guage 100 foot extension as well for the extra length to go out to the street when we need it.
Is it safe to use a 14 gauge cord for a 15 amp machine? The 14 gauge cords ive seen tap out at 13.
