Ian worked and studied at a bronze casting foundry as a young man, where he learned to create models, armatures, molds and finished sculptural artwork in all mediums and finishes. Ian is fascinated by the artistic process of sculpture. He brings this knowledge to his car customizations, to his Full Custom Garage TV show audience, and now he brings it to you, his growing UA-cam audience.

Nothing dull about Ian’s builds
I’ve never seen Ian do so much precision measuring, with a yard stick no less. I like the change of pace and project. I’m guessing the big announcement is that Ian will be performing 1 man fabricating show in Vegas while Jamie treats emergency patients with videos of the dogs and wild space music in the Sphere. Looking forward to the costumes

I'm surprised that you are out there doing anything in the heat.
@@rickywhite7578 Agreed. It is only going to get hotter and we want to get back in the shop.
Hopefully you got a good deal with full custom to release the show on youtube... after you reached one hundred thousand subscribers...
Those Lennox grinders are hard to kill. It would be interesting to see how long one lasts in your shop, I almost sent you one myself.
you’re still my favorite UA-camr since day one!! I’ll always watch every video!! ❤ thank you for using the wheel on this amazing trike!
We finally found the PERFECT project for the steering wheel. We couldn't be more excited to use it.

I made one very similar to this back in 2016! It was 12ft long from axle to axle! I used the gearing from a 21 speed bicycle and doubled it with three derailers! The chain ran through a z pattern! The seat was low in the frame with the 13hp motor in the back like a v dub! My frame was made from thick wall 2and a quarter inch conduit tubing! It bends in an s pattern from the seat to the triple tree! And I hand made a springer style set of forks! I'm currently working on a mini C Cab trike! Love this guy's work!
Mornin all....Greeting Earthlein's ...what up space man !
Also Victor is a Madman and a Beast always keep you on your toes. Never a dull moment
Cant wait to see the new shop in Tehatchipi. We decided to stay for a couple days and total our car in the canyon. Bad winds the day we went through and it actually blew the car off the road. Otherwise it was a beautiful place. Hope it is what you are looking for.
I think that this mini chopper trike is going to be cool and fun when it's done. I think the Drag boat project was really cool and different from the other custom cars that you and Victor have done.
You just can't second guess Ian. Says he is a simple guy but I don't think so. Love to watch him do his magic.
Thank you so much Jamie for your detailed camerawork and tight editing. The intelligent questions are great too. Thanks Ian for the mold-breaking fabrication and techniques for the DIY fabricator. Its more than metal, its a way of life. Thank you both and bless you this Independence Day.
Thank you 🙏 😎 You see us!
Ian my man I just did a mini bike for adults and cut right in front of where the motor mounts and straight above and stretched the frame 8 inches. That way your not eating your knees bro
Ian’s thought process is like organized chaos. It’s entertaining to watch, and oddly familiar. Must be a gearhead thing. 😎
In the future if you create a fiberglass mold, to release it from the plug you can use air. Place random blow holes, and blow air under the edge of the mold as well.
Between the ages of 9 and 13 I was building chopper bikes with home made springer front ends. My dad got 200 springs from a bunch of machines they company he worked for was replacing. I finally ran out of those springs and couldn't find any like them so I stopped building chopper bikes
Music got me thinking, how about a 1/3 scale Ian Roussel take on the Munsters Coach?
can't help but be reminded of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth who built nothing but trikes after he moved to the high desert , except Roth was committed to the concept as serious transportation, thinking it the wave of the future in practical transportation.
It looks great so far Ian. Thanks for the video today. I'm building my own "Full Custom" shelf for my storage shed, and needed a break. Congratulations on your big announcement.
All work and no play makes for a dull day. Happy Independence Day to everyone
This is going to be awesome.
When I was a kid in the late 60’s- early 70’s I saw chopped mini bikes but never a mini bike trike
Amazing watching Ian work thru the design in his head!
I did some rat fink model kits as a kid. Watching you work on this mini bike trike it totally clicked something in my rat fink past. So I looked up rat fink model and MPC sells a Trick Trike Series on amazon. Lists decals and parts. Loving this project!
I absolutely love your hubcap of fasteners. My Dad had what he called"The magic box of goodies. We called it "Dad's garden of Earthly delights."It always had what was needed.
I love this building process! Can’t wait for the final results
Man watching Ian work it out and fabricate on the is so educational and therapeutic and the same time love it 🥰🥰🥰
As always, your work has shown to be unique and unexpected. At the same time, it does look like the classic big wheels three-wheel rider I used to have as a kid just as Jamie mentioned❤😊❤
I've always wanted to rehab a mini bike chopper. For a while I had a Kawasaki GPZ 305 engine tucked away without carbs that was small enough to squeeze into a mini bike chopper frame. My plan was to keep as much of the original chopper as possible but get it street legal and small. Never did. Finally sold off the engine to someone that needed a replacement in the LT 305.
Gotta go guys need to set up sprinkler on gravel road neighbors dusting us out bad will finish video later bev holder cheers 🥂 guys
I had to stop and wonder what you were doing a few times but it worked out great. Can't wait to see more of this build. Bayside New York is watching.
Im thinking your engine in backwards but i do like your thinking on a chopper i made one out of a kids tricycal on 13"car wheels with ace bars back in the 70s it was at ally pally cutom car show 😊✌👍
Is it in backwards? Thought the same thing
The purple trike you made i loved that trike EVERYTHING YOU BUILD IS BADASS IAN THANKS TRULY
Howdy Ian I Really like the videos and especially the TV show, No drama and No BS and not to mention I learn a lot even at 67 years old! Keep up the great work
Good to see you playing Ian - looking like a pretty cool thing you’re building.
Rock on if it clears the mental mechanism-enjoy
Sweeeet. It reminds me as a kid in the 70’s, my dad fabbed up a plate so that same style wheel was on my bicycle. And my brother fabbed up a side car for his ten speed.
An actual drum brake ! Me and Dad built one around 1960 and all it had was a screech brake !!! Don’t run thru water !!!! But it was great. 👍👍👍
Another mad scientist creative build to watch 😮
This is a fun rad little build! Sometimes it's just fun to mess around with a fun project. Can't wait to see this one come together.
Man Ian. I want the purple trike with the coffin tank. Sitting at victors lol. I loved that one
Always amazes me with his ideas and talents.
Ian best fabricator of all time!
This is a cool build start for sure. Can’t wait to watch it be built. Thanks for the channel!
Guy with most toys wins. It will be a nice addition to your collection Ian.😊
110 degrees Monday
Good night guys !
The cup holder is in the beverage of choice helmet.❤ great vid cant wait for part 2.
Love the project........I think you might need a bigger engine, the 212cc is a great engine, but 6 1/2 hp may not be enough. please consider this when building the engine mounting plate.
Or I could be wrong and it will work out just fine, thanks for the video. Nice work by both of you.
By far my favorite show not even close
Ian is a GOAT.

Ian and partner allways good to see & watch . Nice show !
Cool break
Ian I've built a few bicycle choppers and tricycles with forks between 3ft and 4 ft long. More fun than stock bland bicycles, lol.
It's cute watching them try to tiptoe around the "secret", after they announced it on FB, and all the (not so subtle) hints about hating the heat. lol
also it's a Shepherd's crook.
LOL. Not everyone is on social media though.
Bought and sold 65 mini bikes of all kinds. Love seeing this !
Thanks!!

Hey Mike, love the chevy , great job...Ralph
Love it man!
Wow looking forward to seeing part 2
Soon. It has been crazy hot. We are excited.
Mighty interesting for sure!
I feel like its important to talk about the front of the springer forks. It looks like the bottom tube is pretty much parallel and inline with the head tube. You have mounted bar perpendicular at the end, the second tube fits in the middle of that bar, and the wheel fits at the top of that bar. This little bar adds trail to the steering, which is what you want for good handling, without that trail, you get a lot of flop, and its a lot of work when riding without that trail. You could even adjust the trail till you get it right by changing the length of that one bar on each side of the front of the forks where the wheel mounts.
Jamie, your such a wild child==the music chose is outstanding.. Have a great 4th!!!!
Mate very cool I built one out of a Honda ct125 it’s hilarious it’s done some very hardcore tracks here in Tasmania the vids are a laugh I just love the upcycle recycling builds just made a sidecar for a xt250 it’s terrible and brilliant hehe have fun mate cheers for your inspiration
