Would not a transmission allow the electric motor to work less and consume less energy? Why not design a transmission to be used with electric motors that even generated a charge to replenish the battery when you let off the throttle? This would extend the operation and range of the vehicle.
Jim Martin it's already out there. The use of a tranny would be redundant and rob the motor of power, and almost all hub motors have regenerative braking.
The last bike could have a doyal induction Manson engine in the back tire with a generator in the front tire with a battery in the middle. Which would also give it unlimited range. Motorcycles and cars could be designed in the same fashion to operate using these concepts. Novartis

Front wheel drive on a two wheeler is very dangerous thing, especially with your footpegs attached to the front wheel. Not very well thought out.

Fat Bike , i had Frontweeldrive ( on an old electric from 2003 ) its Rubbish Dual Wheel might need a testing,but Front is scary on a Bike alone...
