Awesome love the winter fishing vids, really difficult time of the year to fish. That trout magnet works 365 days of the year though. Merry Christmas Jon.

Nice job out in the cold. I haven’t tried the creek in a while. Gotta try again. I might bring cutters like Heartson too.😅

Yeah winter fishing here is very hit or miss. I mostly blank when I go out in winter, but it’s still fun to try. Honestly I might get cutter too. It comes in very handy.

When nothing else is biting around here, you can always catch fallfish.

Yeap! It’s one of the only reliable fish to catch here in winter.👍🏽

How did you forget fallfish after only a week? 16:21 I think that's a young creek chub. The mouth doesn't look like a blacknose dace. Some guys' blog had a picture of a very similar looking fish and said it's a juvinile fallfish which often gets misidentified as chub or dace but I'd disagree. I feel like fallfish usually have less prominent stripe and larger silvery scales even as juvinile.

I just had a brain fart moment. I’ll have to look up how to identify dace cuz I can easily misidentify it for a juvenile chub.

@Jonalexxx Blacknose dace should have a more slender body and the mouth is longer and more downward I think. To eat things on the bottom.
