Enjoying your vids., low key approach and music bed/ volume. Encouraging u to experiment with your rigging, hook, weight options. Try going without the bobber stop, bullet weight and texposed hook. Try straight shank, threaded to expose hook and use Split Shot. Benefit is more flexibility as you move to various locations/ depths. Dont be afraid of fishing w exposed hook. As u experienced...ALWAYS b prepared for the take as u r " lifting" as u finish your retrieve for your next cast.

Very nice video. I've fished here many times over all seasons. It's very, very miss other than gills so I wouldn't recommend for other than that. Nonetheless a beautiful lake to enjoy the scenery.

Gorgeous spot, footage, and smallie. This year the catfish have been extra aggressive. August has been pretty tough for me, but I’m hoping the cooling weather improves the fishing (and content) for all of us.😅

Maybe consider an inexpensive pair ( WalMart) hiking poles. Take one with u. Tether to your belt. It will really help.

You were very close to my usual spot, and some decent topwater action! The spinner always performs in that stretch too, maybe I'll see you out there!

That's a good day of fishing 👍 I should check it out sometime. The stretch I checked out was super shallow, so that's probably why there were no fish.

Just got my PB 2lb yesterday on swimjigs. Got 2 of them and not sure if it was the same fish lol. Wading out was about waist deep in some areas

A topwater lure I've had good luck with on the Monocacy is the Heddon Torpedo.

Nice video fishing with Scott and Maya, that ray was pretty big haha. Even though you guys didn’t catch bluefish or stripers it still looked like a fun and relaxing outing with the food
